Actually, one CM with a paddle almost hit me on purpose, got bout 3 inches from my face with it, but he was only joking around. Altho I dare he would have loved to have actually hit me. :P

I've never been slapped or punched, but once, when I was moving strollers in from of small world, this guy comes up to me and started screaming that someone moved his stroller. Me and a couple other CMs were telling him why we moved strollers, but he didn't want to hear it. He grabbed a nearby rental stroller (a double one), and just heaved it at me. I was only a couple feet away from him, so it hit me hard in the ankle and I fell over. I had a huge bruise for days. Luckily, there were the other CMs around, and one kept talking to the guy, just to try to keep him there, while the other called our manager and security. One of our good managers was there that night, and he came running. Then security got there, and they took the guy out of the park.

A guest threw her wallet at me one time...and then she slapped my hand when I tried tp pick it up. I did shocked, and then pissed, but tried to keep my cool and said through clenched teeth, "Ma'am, PLEASE don't throw things at or slap me or I'll have to call security"...and then she cussed me out and I called security. She told me I was racist. Heh. She was of asian decent and I am white/native american but people either mistake me for full white or being half mexican. *shrug* But how did she know I wasn't asian also??

Anyway, but I've been cussed/yelled at, threatened, and shoved by lots of guests before.

Reminds me of a girl who was undressing (exoticly) in front of me and then slaped me for looking TWICE!

So yesterday I was working Gangster when this one guest threatenes to hit me. He was pissed off when I told him that he had to knock off the flash photography and I pretty much said it like that also. Now I don't know about anybody here, but would it make sence to threaten any physical harm on a person when they are armed with a pistol. Now I know that we only use blanks, but they are real firearms. If I use a sabot I can put a .225 caliber cartrage and shoot that out of the barrel and it would be just as accurate. I want to know what some people are thinking.

jeez i didnt realize that guests would be so violent...ive never had anyone threaten me with any kinda physical violence though ive heard of visitors hitting visitors...plus if you do hit any employee on alcatraz its a major crime and the law enforcement ranger would put ya in cuffs and haul you back to the main land...mind you...youll still get the chance to tour a nice federal penitentary...though youd be on the other end of the bars...prob get a hefty fine too

I was working at Alice unload a few weeks back when this insanely rude lady walks in the exit holding a pink poodle wearing a pearl necklace and insisting that she wants to ride..after going around and around with her explaining as nicely as I could that the dog couldn't ride, she takes her guidebook for guests with disabilities out and comes at me with it waving it in my face...I asked her twice to step back before I threatened to call security and then she hit me in the face with the damn book and I wanted to strangle her!

Really? At WDW we're told that companion animals can ride anything that doesn't have a height requirement. We take dogs (and the occasional monkey) on the train all the time.

Oh my god I hate the pink poodle lady. She thinks of her dog as her child and doesn't realize that the poor thing can't go on every ride. The biggest problem is that unless city hall writes it in the guests with disabilities book people with service animals don't know they can't go on dark rides because for some reason they weren't included in the updated book. But the Poodle lady just pissed everyone in fantasyland off on her last visit. Plus I just feel bad for her poor poodle, first off obviously pink is not a natural fur color, and then to have to deal with a crazy owner. :( poor thing :(

Could be worse. We have to deal with "Towel Baby Lady".

She's more than a little bit Image, and thinks a rolled up towel is her baby.

Once a CM tried to play along and said, "Ooo, what a cute baby!"

"It's a towel, you moron!" she replied, then got on the train, telling her baby not to pay any attention to the nasty woman....
