How about monorail polka dot? Or perhaps Disney could start doing them up like race cars with corporate sponsors. :D: Monorail Golden Arches anyone?darph nader wrote:Howz about those stick on grafics they use on cars? I'm sure that's what they used for the 'Nemo' monorail at DL.

There is no color stripe in the picture. The color that was under the stripe is the color that the train should be...shows how faded the paint job is. Plus if that were the actual stripe, it would have the black outline around it.CptnSkippy wrote:Looks really neat. Closer look, it looks like the white is a vinyl. Perhaps it's already painted and they're waiting to unveil? Or perhaps 11 hasn't been and that's why it's covered.
I don't know if it will or not, I'm just guessing that it will to distinguish it from Blue.Honda Enoch wrote:Why would it have a delta?
That's essentially what they did. A WDW Monorail is made up of 6 cars, and with the two cab/cars out of service, you have 4 of the "in between" cars in the shop somewhere. So like you said they would need the 2 cabs. 4+2=6=Monorail.Honda Enoch wrote:Why only 4 "in between" cars??? Don't make any sense.
If the only thing damaged beyond repair were the cabs then why not just take the cab from pink and put on purple (or vice versa) and make a teal 6 car train? Then since they still need to order 2 cabs do so and add to the 12th train.

Steve Jobs could convince Apple to sponsor a monorail--each car could be a giant iPod. :D:darph nader wrote:Monorail polka dot???![]()

Somehow I could see monorail Coke as well, done up in red and white with a big wavy stripe down the side.
Actually, I'd better be careful--someone from the department that deals with corporate sponsorships could be reading this!![]()
