Free park passes would be good. There aint 'squat' here in town for jobs :( ,I'm ready to give just about anything a try.

I got to my resort (checking in) late Thursday night. There was a broadcast voicemail when I got in, apologizing for the bus inconvenience and assuring me that everything was fine.

I had NO idea what anyone was talking about - I think I'd left for the airport before anything happened and by the time I landed, it was all done. Not sorry, though, that I missed it!

A few years ago I went to WDW and the Disney's Magical Express was late getting to MCO. Apparently there was a bank robbery in OC. The bank was within a few miles of the hotel. We finally got in around 7 pm. We got in at MCO around 2:30 pm.

Now going to DL, if someone left a back pack on a bench over 45 minutes to 1 hour, yes, I have seen security come out with a K-9 dog and sniff out the area. After 9-1-1 there were so many hoax around.

In the Alamitos Landing area they have found some TNT in a garage and it was old. They had to take a bomb squad in and blow it up on the Naval Weapons base. This was about 5 years ago. The fire department said it was very old.

There is one kind of fruitcake that I tried and liked, my parents got one, it was in the shape of Texas. I don't recall who made it, but it was good.

My maternal grandmother made a fruitcake that was very good. My aunt took it and made a couple of minor changes, and it was delicious.

Fruitcake dates back to the days of William Shakespeare. Originally it had everything except the kitchen sink in it--meat, dried fruit, nuts, and lots of liquor (GP and Darph would love that! ;) ); its consistency was more like pudding, but it was really the only way to preserve food over the winter. Later, the meat was taken out, less liquor was used, and sometime in the 1800s the modern fruitcake came about.

I've seen those pineaple and macadamia nut fruitcakes; I wouldn't mind trying one of those.

Forget the meat,dried fruits and nuts. :D:
