Prince Buckethead? Is that just a backstage nickname?
If that is really something they call Snow's prince, how did they come up with it?
You see folks, it really does pay to do your research. This particular tidbit came to me courtesy of the great Jim Korkis, one of whose "Junior Woodchucks" I am proud to call myself.
In a Little Golden Book telling of Snow White, she interrupted her cleaning to sing and dance, and having at that point in the story no prince of her own, she built one by tying a rag around a broom and inverting a bucket over the top. She addressed him as "Prince Buckethead" and danced with him a bit. Then her prince, who had been watching from behind a tree, stepped up, put the bucket on his own head, and cut in on the dance.
Not quite how "first contact" played in the film, but a most entertaining and genuine cannon version of the story. It is, to date, the only official name Snow's prince has ever had.
And now you know... why I've been banned from trivia contests in four departments! :snow:

Ah!
Yes. Little Golden Books are a good source of info like that. The info is often obscure, but still good stuff to know.

Sounds like they reused that technique in Sleeping Beauty. At least Prince Phillip got a better name than "Buckethead".
