I prefer Win XP, thankyouverymuch. I tried Vista on mom's laptop, and if I didn't come close to throwing it out the window or in the trash, mom nearly did. Anyway, I ran Yahoo Antispy earlier and got rid of a bunch of stuff. I don't have many problems with MS, I just wish they were easier to get ahold of. They try to charge you for tech support even through email. AT&T is worse--they tell you that you can use email for tech support, but then when you click the link, they say they don't use email for support anymore. Well, I have Yahoo, but not an AT&T account anymore.
I had another IT person elsewhere tell me I could use a thumb drive for either storage or as extra memory. Seriously, I get points from MyPoints and I had saved up enough for a $25 Staples gift card, thinking I could get a 512MB memory card and only pay like $3 plus the tax. But then when I got to the local Staples, the price had nearly doubled. I ended up using the gift card for inkjet cartridges. They can't be used online--it says so on the back. We'll see what Christmas brings.
