Watergate, if the government couldn't cover that up, they can't cover anything up.Goofyernmost wrote:Good grief...this was a government operation. Don't you think if it had been fake it would have come to the surface by now and have been proven a hoax. The government folks are just not smart enough to hide something that big for this long.
Besides that (you're right) if Uncle Walter Cronkite said it...it happened.

Re: Happy Anniversary Apollo 11
It's sad. I don't remember any of the events we're talking about.
Wait a second. I remember the Mythbusters episode. That was soo cool!
I am looking forward to the launch of the Aries 1-X, if they do decide to launch it. The experience will be something between that of seeing a shuttle launch and a Saturn 5. Wow!

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

For anyone interested, Im an annual passholder for Kennedy Space Center (Disney, start taking notes on how this AP programs SHOULD be run). I was out there for the opening of the exhibit for Apollo's 40th. You can find them (And many many other photos from KSC, or Cape Kennedy, depending on your preference) here:
