You do love the gruesome stories.

2006 a boy severed part of a finger on the ride.
My memory is shot so it is possible that there was an earlier incident but I do not remember that happening but then I cannot remember what I last ate, lol.

Maybe you should take that and other stuff and make the ultimate Disneyland deaths and injuries site. I scraped a heel and was sore when I misstepped onto the canal boats once. I figure I have had 50 to 100 ouchies from cuts and bruises to damged knee and major back pain. But then again I do not count them all and I have been going since 1960 to Disney parks.

I really hope they put in the accessibility option which they now have at DL. Not having time pressure to enter/exit the ride vehicle really helps those of us who need it.

The technology has been in place since the bobsleds started using the siding for storing ride vehicles and taking them out of service. It is very simple technology. How hard would it be to have at Big Thunder a third line with track that would have disabled guests? Pirates does not have room but if they did they could have a bay for loading guests which would have a block in front and back then a pusher arm to push the boat into the bay. Taht is my hard way to do it but a way. I am disabled with no job and am smarter than Disney bosses lol, if only we could change places.

I was really impressesd when we went on Toy Story and saw how they had a special load. There was a young girl with her parents and brother in front of us, and they put them in a car while we watched. Very smart way to design it.
I think they will probably figure out a way to incorporate that idea and maybe retrofit the rides. It just makes good sense.

They'll also be closing the Space Mountain Arcade so they can reroute the ride exit.

Oh, that made me sad, listening to Burl Ives' voice. What a great set of unique pipes he had.
