After we got out of that area all locations were being evacuated. We did sit down because all locations were closed for almost 3 hours. I also heard from the July earthquake that all park comunications were down for roughly 2 hours. My cell phone did not work either.
Well, since I only know of two people at Disneyland who felt it, and it occurred about 5-10 minutes before Fantasmic was over, no it probably wasn't canceled since by the time anyone was even aware an earthquake had happened the show was probably over already.
It was so small in Anaheim that when I asked my husband if he felt the earthquake, his response was.....that WAS an earthquake, I just thought I was going crazy. So, he was probably just sitting on the computer or on the couch watching tv and he barely felt anything.

I thought my neighbors were dropping a refrigerator in their living room. Or if you drop a large pumpkin down a parking structure, you would get the same loud sound. We had one of these quakes back in early November too. I guess you feel the jolt and hear the alarm go off saying get under something safe. Because in a few seconds, you will be saying "Oh-S@&t!
I said that too.
If it's silent, how can you hear it? hehehehehehe
Like Shorty posted, do you mean a SONIC boom? (the space shuttle one is caused by exceeding the speed of sound) the Earthquake one comes from a very different source.

No, the bane of my existance are people who say bad things about me, especailly if it has no basis in fact, or people who are generally stupid. Especially if they are clueless and self-centered.
Earthquakes are no big deal; I went through the Northridge one in good shape.

I totally agree. For me some are fun like the rolling quakes. Nothing I can do besides being prepared for the medium one, lol, and not stacking boxes on the steamer trunks behind me. I rate them and type them then move on. $ or 5 north and south jolter was the last one. Moved on to what I was doing.

I see, I figured that since the OP stated that pins were the source of the bain of his existance, I figured that earthquakes were the source of the bane of your existence.

The promotion is over, at least for the time being. Yea!
I've been told it might come back in the future but nothing definite has been said.
Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.
We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious…
and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

So this pin thing went on for 1 week. That is good. Wait until the end of this month. The cheer leaders and Marathon weekend. Those are the good times at WDW. ;)

The Marathon is fun in Monorails. Five trains on Epcot! Woot!
Oh, and for you Monorail Pilots, we were running on AMVS Override the whole time. Driving with a red upper display: Fun. Driving with a BLUE upper display: Awesome!
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

More than that. It went on for a while before the holidays, put on hold for the holidays, then brought back for a while.
