If we aren't using our real names on here, how can they know who we are? I've done seaches of my real name, and I can't find any of my postings on here or the other places I visit and post on. Do they hack our accounts or something?

Oh, it's not hard to figure out a CM if they are talking about their job, certain incidents they were involved in, etc.

As far as finding out a guest, it is possible, but it would involve filing a lawsuit, and sending out some subpoena's.

Actually, I was referring to prospective employers who check the internet to see if an applicant is as cleancut as they say they are. I mean, if I never tell them I have a blog, or that I'm a member of this or other forums, and I use a nickname everywhere (though my blog does have my real first name on it), how can they tell?

True, usually no connection.

I think what I, and others are referring to is content analysis of posts.

a process where a person will state in one post WHEN they are going to be working, then in another will talk about work location and/or attraction, and so forth. Sometimes a description of the CM, or a specific description of where they will be to meet, and so forth. If you are an employer, and have access to work schedules and locations it would be actually pretty easy to figure out who is whom.
