I did not do it. My friend who was a lead in ODV told me about that. Him and allot of security went racing through the park after the group of teenagers. Now these days they have the cheap motorola radios by nextel and from what I have heard from security that they don't work ( the radio) and the batteries die off quickly.

D L R Security radios & ear buds have been upgraded. Radios are not as heavy & do work better (still have the Chat Rooms). Ear buds really cause ear problems & pain to Security Officers. Batteries die quicky cuz D L buys the cheap brand. Green & black in green, white & black boxes. Forgot the brand name. Will look in our refrig. ;)

If you are going to be security, I would think it would be adventagous to buy yourself a custom made ear insert that can connect to any type of radio system. I have had several made. The bad part is that you have to make a mold, but once it is on file, they can make one for you rther quickeluy. and they are not that expensive.
they will not fall out while running, being in a prone position, or doing other activities.

I can definitely see running, and doing "other activities" as a security guard...but a prone position? Why would they do that?...I hope the answer isn't what I'm thinking

:D: .

Don't know WHAT you're thinking.
prone position...used for surveillance with/without optics and night vision, sniper/anti-sniper, prevents casual observation of officer by subject and/or civilians. can be used to stealth ingress/egress area without observation.
(also very good position for a nap!)

Wow, never thought of that! Disney sharp-shooters for the especially annoying SG!

Those are Rocket batteries. They are mercury free. Knott's used to have those until we switched to something even cheaper and worse. (Would you expect anything less?)
