Some of us are CM's, it's just that Disney has not gotten around to assigning us to a position, or put us on the payroll...

The stupid tricks happen here at Disneyland. The SG claim that they can glide on water and not get hurt. In Frontierland and also in Fantasyland get flooded. A few days ago it did rain. I saw a bunch of kids running and stopping to see if they could slide. A few did and a bunch did not. The ones that did not stopped and hit foriegn objects. The best one was when the kid slammed into a trash can. A bunch of us saw it and it made my day. Today, who know what will happen. Maybe a SG will slide into a planter with some electrical equiptment. Buzz-zapp! Like the bug zappers! :D:

It's all fun and games until some innocent trash can gets hurt, and Custodial has to pay $800 to get it repainted. At least Push can dodge. (Hmmm. Is that when Push comes to shove?) :p:

What he said. So while we wait for Disney to hire us, or to pass the time while we save up for our next SGT fact-finding missions (i.e. vacations), we've found a bunch of friends here, and as friends do, we talk with about anything and everything... It's not a bad thing!

Ha! That's awsome!
turkeyham wrote:I been there and seen cast members get attacked. I have been hit by annoying SG with back packs and strollers. I have a big electric beverage cart. If you think you can take me on, wrong again! The tire marks will make a lovely pattern on you face and body. Shorty82 and BW know what I do for a living. It's turkey, but it tastes like ham!
I have never been able to have one of those.
Syndrome wrote:I think Backpack Moron's daughter and her friends were behind me the other night at Halloween Horror Nights. No backpack involved, but she apparently had a strange fascination with running into me while we were going through one of the haunted houses. It wasn't a particularly dark one either, and even if it were, when I've had people accidentally run into me they generally apologize and then walk with their hand out in front of them the rest of the way as an early warning system.

So idiot girl slams into me...not bumps, SLAMS...then does it again and then a third time. At this point I realize it's not accidental, so elbow her gently to give her a hint. SLAM again and a harder elbow as a response from me. Still didn't learn, so I kicked backwards...not too hard yet...and get another SLAM. This time I kick backwards with force that would have made my horse proud. Then I hear "Owwww! She kicked me! That person kicked my shin and it HURT!" as she whines to her group of friends. You'd think she would have learned at this point, but then she slams me AGAIN! At this point I whipped around and hissed into her face, "You will not touch me, or even come near me again. Got it?" Apparently the tone plus her still aching shin finally convinced her and she stayed far, far, far away for the rest of the house.
Good for you!

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

Hmmm, I would gladly become a CM. Its just that I don't think that I would be happy (judging by some of the CM stories) with a pay cut to maybe a third or less of what I am earning. Add the fact that My (and probably many others) Career would not translate well into a CM role.

But I think that most people come here because they commiserate with the CM's, as we see the same, or similar actions when dealing with people in their lives that have been labeled "SG's" at DLR or WDW.

Add the fact that MOST of the posters here seem to enjoy going to DLR or WDW to have fun.

plus we all like RUM!!! (well, some like wine!)

I'm still trying to make up my mind between rum and tequila. I'll keep testing and let you know what the results are.
