Your computer has a big virus. Its name is Windows. Time to switch to Linux. It's free! Also better.

TWC = The Weather Channel
It is global and not you that is the problem apparently. Search the internet for answers and maybe there is one, not sure.
I used cached to find this link:
http://209.85.173.104/search?q=cache:VU ... cd=4&gl=us
Thanks for the link, Churchy! I read what was on it, the problem is with The Weather Channel, I went there, clicked on support, and apparently they have issues with Windows XP, among others. Luckily, there was a quick and easy fix: Uninstall TWC, clear cache/Temporary Internet Files, reboot, and reinstall.

Using Firefox would help a lot on keeping viruses and what not off your machine. A number of viruses and other nasties make use of holes and exploits in IE to get onto a machine. Firefox is a lot more secure than IE in that department.
Also being very careful of where you go on the 'net and what you download helps. Firefox now has a feature that makes use of a free Google service to warn you when you try to visit a site that is known to contain viruses.
I very rarely have any problems from viruses and nasties on my machines because I use Firefox exclusively (except for a few pages on the Hub that only like IE) and don't download things from sources I don't trust.

Thanks for the link though, that was like visiting some old friends. You know, the "friends" who come over, eat all your food, drink all your beverages and then help themselves to a dvd/cd or two on the way out...

How the heck did I do that? Is there some way the admin or somebody could remove a double post?
