does anyone besides me remember when disneyland had a dress code? guests had to abide by the dress code or they couldn't get into the park? my sister's ex had a patch on his pants (it didn't cover a hole it was at a time a lot of us can remember when patches were popular...the early 70's) that said "your problem is obvious" and had a guy with his head up his ass...security came up to him and said he couldn't go in with that on...so he simply undid the stitches and took the patch off...

I don't know, we got a ticket book with admission, all the "A" through "E" tickets, and round trip bus from San Diego base for $16.50 (plus a ticket for lunch at the park!)

At the water park turnstiles last year, I saw a mid-teen female wearing a tiny top which had the words "Look Here Boys" printed across the front and a pair of shorts perhaps no larger than a belt.

I wondered what kind of parent would permit this teen to go out dressed like that. I then found out...

The girls 300 pound mother came sashaying around the corner jiggling like jello in clothes which appeared to be painted on her, in brilliant shades of fluorescent color. She was definitely putting 20 pounds into a 10 pound sack. Picture one of those highway safety barrels with arms and legs.

As a fat woman, I sincerely apologize for her lack of taste and the effect it had upon your eyes and psyche. Most of us are quite aware of our bodies and make attempts to dress in a tasteful and socially decent manner. I place this woman in the same category with the thinner "ladies" that dress in skirts short enough to make even a gynecologist blush. I am a huge proponent of body acceptance, but I also recognize that there are some things us larger ladies are just not meant to wear. If you see me in a park, it's usually in a baggy peasant shirt and loose pants (the ones with tons of pockets). I just like to be comfy and as unobtrusive as I can. Even I would have been appalled by that kind of dress.

I went to a Business College. The dress code was white shirts, Dress Slacks, Tie and Sports Jacket. No air conditioning and no blood flow to the brain due to the tie. Ah, good times! I think I have worn a tie only about 7 times since then and that has been mostly to funerals. Oh, and once at my wedding. Other than that I think that whomever came up with the concept of ties, should be hung with one.

Yesterday, I was at Toontown with my friend, waiting for the train back to Main Street. A father walked up with a shirt. At first glance, it looked like the Mountain Dew symbol, but it actually had 4 words. "Mount and Do Me." I just gave him the dirtiest look I could.
