Alas, the last Woody's Smorgasburger location -- the one on Sepulveda -- closed its doors about three years ago. IIRC, they started in Culver City and spread out from there, selling the only triple-deck hamburgers available when they began. I remember wondering how one ate such a monster, then a few years later discovering it for my self -- with lots of napkins!

Ha ha! I forgot it was called Smorgasburger!

There was also a Smorgateria in LA on Florence, I think. Smorgasbord was big in the sixties.

I still see Cooties in certain drugstores like CVS or Rite Aid. They look slightly different from the version I grew up with, but I think they're cute. They're smiling, while ours had this grasshopper look. Fun game to play, though.
