There was a wide variety of everything from small hard candies to chocolate last October, with lots of trick-or-treating stations scattered throughout the Magic Kingdom. It was warm, muggy and rainy the night we went. Bring your own bag (heavy duty plastic or lightweight cloth) as the bags Disney provides are quite small and lightweight and seem to rip easily. We used the Disney bags to get the treats, then emptied them into a larger bag with a tie string that we kept in our backpack.
The parade alone was worth the price of admission. The costumes and make-up are amazing, especially the grave diggers, and I loved the Headless Horseman riding through on a real horse just before the parade starts.

There was a ton of chocolate last year in Oct. On another board they said it was mostly hard candy in Sept. We just got our tix for Sept 19. Not sure what we are dressing as yet. Any ideas?

OK, so here's my "costume" for an upcoming MNSSHP - I trust that CMs aren't going to string me up for this?...

The other girls I was with also got things like little trinkets a Disney card game pack and a Jack Skellington pumpkin stencil.

jsilver-cool shirt idea. I like.

Sarah Magdalene-The candy we got last Friday night in the park is called: "Child's Play." We get stuck with a pallet full after that event at the office.

Our group did get allot of candy and I have still allot of it left, so I will bring it to work.

Our youngest in our family is about 16 and we still dress up. I was a pirate last year and plan to go as Indidana Jones next year. Failing that, maybe a Gostbuster :D: I don't care who's gonna "frown upion it." Because as Dr. Seuss once said "Those who matter won't mind and those who mind don't matter." That and come on, free candyu!!
Also, as for what you get, last time I was there, we got a lot of those colorful candy coated mini Kisses along with some other variouis stuff. Is the candy provided by sponsers and thus hanges depending on who's sponsoring that year?

Just found ourt my boyfriend is taking me to Not So Scary for my birthday, which is on the 19th. We're going the 21st. I am sooo excited!! I've never been. My bf has no idea what to go as. I have a sort of costume picked out, but I dont know if I should try for something more original or just keep it simple. I cant wait! If anyone has any idea, I have 11 days!

I am going to Mickey's trick or treat party as a super hero in disguise.
