We had a behind the scenes look at the Disneyland horses last week, and it's similar there. They get many from the Amish and only keep them five years; most end up adopted by CMs, or so we were told. They had some miniature donkeys too so I'm hoping to do an article on those for Miniature Donkey Talk (don't laugh, it's a real magazine that I've written for before!).
There is a joke in there somewhere about miniature donkey talk.Reminds me of Donkey in Shrek. ;)

I did see a horse misbehaving at Disneyland once, they couldn't make it calm down, but it was right in the minute before Susi came up to us in her ECV for the first time...

We got to tour the Circle-D barns last Oct. when we were there for our Haunted Carriage Ride. It was very cool and I'm not really a horse person.
