Yesterday I went to DL. I was waiting for my sister to come out of the restrooms when I came across a group of cheer brats. It looked like a peacock had exploded onto their faces. OMG! They were soooooo ugly.
I thought they were to look natural. I did not know they can steal peacocks out of a bird farm!!

One of my biggest pet peeves. The word *like* and *uh*. It drives me absolutely batty when these kids talk. They have no sense of the language and you cannot even grasp the subject of the sentence, there are so many like's and uh's in them. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Makes me so crazy, I just want to slap them until their head's spin.
And the makeup. Holy crap! They all went to the Tammy Faye Baker school of makeup application! And they must have gotten their fashion sense from the Mustang Ranch! All these little hookers running around with potty mouths and *like* coming out every other word!~
I think I am going to go put my head in the oven now. ;) Just thinking of them makes me want to scream.
Uh, I hope they, like, are not, uh , like there, at WDW, uh, when we, uh, like come down in, uh, like May...AIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

wow! I have never been more embaressed for others in my life, or ashamed to be associated with them. You chastise the cheerleaders for not being intelliagent, but have you actually talked to any of them? I cheered for 5 years and was lucky enough to qualify for nationals at wdw twice. I would also be willing to bet I am smarter than the majority of you.
I could sterotype all of you as too stupid to hold an actual career. You work at an amusment park and have no ambition to do anything else. These girls will get college scholorships for their skills. I would like to see any of you do a double down or a standing tuck or even explain to me what those are. I applaud them for practicing a sport that at many schools (as was mine) is not considered a sport. We were required to raise the $20,000 to go to nationals by fundrasing (i.e raffles car washes and 50/50 drawings). Our "sport" was year round leaving no time for anything else. Try outs were 2-4 weeks after nationals.
If any of you can get in front of a packed stadium and perform the routines these girls do, then complain. Once again sterotyping all of you as you are them I will say you are all too out of shape to even attempt them.
I will also not appologize for anything I am saying. You are all judging an entire group based on your opinions (gathered after less than one min of interaction) with a few of these girls. You are the ones that should be appologizing for sterotyping, something that I thought as adults we were all too mature for.

well, I can tell you that I was a cheerleader from age 11-18. We did competitions, and all that jazz. And we never would have acted like some of the cheerleaders do now (same for all teens, actually. It's amazing how much they have changed in the 5 years since I was one). The reason we talk like this is because we've all had bad experiences with them. Sure, there are nice, smart cheerleaders, but, unfortunately, the bad usually outweighs the good, and people are more likely to remember the cheerleaders that stole, or were loud and rude, and think it's funny to be obnoxious.
And you say we're stereotyping, but what do you call what you're doing when you say "You work at an amusment park and have no ambition to do anything else."

The full statement you are refering to is "I could sterotype all of you as too stupid to hold an actual career. You work at an amusment park and have no ambition to do anything else." Could being the opretive word in that sentence.

"scholarship"
"operative"
Maybe you should check a dictionary before you act so smarty-pants.

(Aside to Ms. M: Ditto. Loved her phrase "you chastise the cheerleaders for not being intelliagent." I'd say "delicious irony" and "schadenfreude," but she probably wouldn't understand. :D :)
Uptown, sorry, but if you'd have read all of the posts here, you'd realize that the cast members are talking about impressions based upon years of actual experience, not stereotypes. It may be a minority of the actual cheerleaders in attendance who misbehave, but that's enough to color the impressions of the entire group.
If you want to improve the perception of your fellow cheerleaders, you might want to focus first on improving their behavior in the parks. Or your own here.
