Resistance is futile.
(looks at living room that is completely filled with a Disney Monorail layout, with WDW railroad, and tons of Disney landmarks along the tracks. Then looks at Disney Visa in pocket. Looks at Mickey antenna topper. Looks at fridge adorned with a "I break for Hitchhiking Ghosts" magnetic bumper sticker. etc, etc, etc.)

Nope, never happen to ME.  :D:

I DID trade in my WDW hat for an SGT hat. :D:

For those of you who don't know Randy, this is a *really* big honor for SGT. This is not a man who changes hats on a whim! :sparky:

Or often. The last one lasted 4 years. :D:

(Hey I hate having to get a haircut or spend time "styling my hair" so I can just wake up, put on my hat and "done".)

A man after my own heart! I always wear a baseball cap when I'm out. Used to wear a particular one until I got a new one (not that often). When I first started with AutoZone I would wear my cap until I got to work then stick it under the counter as it wasn't dress-code compliant. Drove me nuts not being able to wear my hat. After I got an AZ hat a few weeks later I wore it everywhere I went, in and out of uniform, for nearly a year. My aunt finally persuaded me to pick another cap out of the many her brother has from his company to wear on our WDW trip back in July. I wanted a lighter colored one anyway for down there. I now wear my AZ hat whenever I'm in my work clothes and the other cap when in my normal clothes (can I call them my normal clothes when I wear my uniform a lot more? :confused :) . None of the caps at WDW really caught my eye, but I wasn't looking that hard either.

A few weeks ago I ordered a new AZ cap and retired the old one as it was looking rough. Wearing it all the time and getting grease and whatnot on it really took a toll on how it looked.

Susi, how much did Tawny's I-131 treatment cost? I wish I had the money to get my cat Tripod done, since the nearest facility is less than 3 miles from me. How close do you live to --oops, brain fart..the vet hospital from "Emergency Vets"--Alameda East? I know Denver is pretty spread out, and it's in Aurora, a suburb of Denver. I realize how much something costs depends on geography but I want a ballpark figure.
How long did Tawny have to stay, and what instructions did they give you--do you have to stay 3' from her and wash your hands after petting her and keep her out of your bedroom? Here in California we can't flush used cat litter down the toilet, what about over there? I once read in Cat Fancy there was this guy in NY who didn't flush his cat's litter after radioiodine treatment, the "hot" litter in the trash set off a radiation detector alarm, and he ended up paying a fine of over $3000. Forgot to hit PM, sorry about that....

Actually, if I remember right, she said somewhere else that that is where she takes her cats.

I'm surprised they don't have a way to tell the difference between cat litter and other things. Do you know where this alarm was? In the garbage truck or at the waste processing center?

Wow, those have to be some seriously sensetive detectors! It must be at the processing plant/dump.
