Back when DL had tickets for rides, we would keep unused ones for years, and made sure to check they were still usable before we went to the park. If they were usable, we used them; if not, we either traded them in or tossed them--no big deal. Of course, this was back in the 60s and 70s, when tickets didn't cost so much.

I remember the first time I went to Disneyland, I was in the Navy (of course!!) and got a bus ride from san diego, a ticket book and enterence, and a ride back for about $20.00. (I believe they had a special military price!) I remember having several of the smaller tickets left when we had to get back to the bus. I gave them to some kids, as they were for the smaller rides!

No, but for a few hundred you can upgrade them to annual passes!

Actually, you can upgrade any *one* ticket to any more expensive one, but you only get face value. Thus each of your "A coupons" is still only worth 10 cents.

And yes, I have had guests try to do this. Most I convinced they could get more value out of by selling them on eBay, but one insisted I give her 25 cents credit for an old "C coupon", which I did.

My wife & I still have our 4-day parkhoppers from our honeymoon in 1990 with one day remaining. I understand we could exchange them for current media good for any park but DAK (since it wasn't around then), right? Who knows if we'll ever do that (especially as long as my in-laws keep taking us on land/sea package vacations!).
