My all time favorite is the Eclectus. At a pet shop in Astoria, OR, I got too close to the cage of one to get a look at him, so he climbed on my head. That's when I saw the sign: Do not touch the birds.
I walked over to the counter, said I was sorry, didn't mean to touch him, but he was the one who made contact. That's when they informed me it was actually for customer safety, and allowed me to keep him on my shoulder while I walked around the store.
Cool..Mine used to fly down to the kitty dish and eat their food..he would shoo them away. they were a little afarid of him!!

I don't know what exactly that means, but I know there are some birds out there that know how to scare the cats.
One of my favorites was one where a bird started saying "Here, kitty, kitty, kitty!" Then, when the cat got close, he started barking and sounded very much like a large dog.

He was a very large bird, when he screamed, it hurt MY ears, and he would be very aggressive toward any animal, puff his feathers, hold out his wings to look bigger, and hiss. our cats did not want anything to do with that!! they ran!
