Candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker! I got up at 2am last night to finish burning some DVD's for our baby sitter. She had me encode some VHS tapes and burn them to DVD, as well as scan some photos. I did two slide shows and split the video into two movies. 5 hours later iDVD was finished and I had to burn 6 more DVD's for her (11 minutes per burn). She headed to the airport at 745am, so I was up at 7 to take them to her house. I thought about having some good ole rum, but I think I'm tired enough to skip it and just sleep. When I'm tired I tend to ramble on about random things that pop in to my mind, but that is really for another thread...
Okay, since it sounds like you know what you're doing, you can come here and make CDs of all my pics by subject and date....there are only a couple thousand just randomly loaded to photobucket! Pleeeeeese! ;)

64 TB is still pretty whimpy. I can get 1.1 PB in a single system. We've got customers that have EBs of info. One was looking at a YB within two years.

Its all we need, as we "flush" the old data to individual storage off-line. we have to keep it until we are allowed to destroy it.

Beautiful, thanks.
At the next one after yottabyte, I understand your eyes are supposed to go crossed any time you say it.

I'm going with what I think is in my budget, since it is not published, I just guess these days.
Now, if you care to donate some hardware...

Sure! I'll need round trip, first class ticket, the presidential suite at the finest hotel and a limo.
I'll also need a large brandy sniffer filled with brown m&m's.
