Don't want to tell her, a co-worker and I were at a confrence in Georgia a few years ago, he is a history buff and was telling me about the Spanish conquistodors that killed (estimated) millions of indians (native americans) along the coast, from (what is now) georgia down to florida! (looking for the fountain of youth!) Hmmm WDW????DisneyMom wrote:Ummmm, you must have had a REALLY good time on your vacation! :p:

Didn't you notice that they found the fountain of youth. That is what is used in the play fountains around the parks. That's why you only see kids playing in them. If they weren't a child when they went in, they are when they come out. ;) :D:GRUMPY PIRATE wrote:Don't want to tell her, a co-worker and I were at a confrence in Georgia a few years ago, he is a history buff and was telling me about the Spanish conquistodors that killed (estimated) millions of indians (native americans) along the coast, from (what is now) georgia down to florida! I'd be happy to track that driver down... I'll bet I know him.Kwahati wrote:...I'll PM BW and Cranbiz (if that's okay with you guys) to see if you might know him and can encourage him to join our merry band here at the forum...(Now I need to go celebrate Thanksgiving in the traditional American way: by taking a Native's land and giving them syphilis!)
So, with giving the natives STD's (for which I am sure they will be very thankful), how are you planning to do that? Gift-wrapped? A certain SNL skit comes to mind. Did you spend time at Vista Lay?
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Then you could record The Vocal Majority's next CD! :D:Big Wallaby wrote:Once we get moved, I want to put together a sound recording booth that can go in the garage and give good recording quality. That is the one thing that really hinders me from doing some recordings I want to do now, that I don't have a good dead room.
Maybe I could find something at the Haunted Mansion...
