I'm surprised this is shocking to people...DoomBuggies.com actually has had this information (especially HM) for many many years.
Stories about guest behavior in theme parks.

But..........
Im kind of confused as to why this is a big deal. Granted you should never litter in a ride no matter whether its a candy wrapper or Grandma. But if someone was walking around sprinkling a little here and a little there, what could be the big deal?
Do they actually make a special call for this? The article reads like this is a big problem. After being cooked that long chances are that what ever is being sprinkled is pretty sterile.
Personally I feel that if I'm gonna become ashes, I would rather my family go up to any enemies I have and throw a fistful of me in their face. Now that's Vengeance. HaHa, you have GRITS on your face.
Even puting aside the legal issues about disposal of human remains, I wouldn't like it if someone were spreading fireplace ashes in an attraction. First if it is getting into water it is a particulate that can clog filters and machinery that will cause more frequent "down time" to repair/replace. If it is getting into the air it can cause respiratory problems with many people. And any ash that is dumped (even just a "handful") will tend to waft into the air meaning that everyone around the action will likely be dusted with the "fly ash". Even puting aside the sensibilities of the so affected due to the source of the ash, such an action is inconciderate. IMHOWildGrits wrote:I've never claimed to be the Sharpest Hunk of Cheese

Is this what they are talking about? Remains actually on walkways? That seems a little disrespectful to the deceased.GRUMPY PIRATE wrote:I Don't want someone sprinkling "Grandpa joe" where I am going to walk, or for that matter, where the wind can blow it into my face.
I guess this is why I am confused. Are folks actually pitching family members around like beads at Mari Gras?Randy B wrote:And any ash that is dumped (even just a "handful") will tend to waft into the air meaning that everyone around the action will likely be dusted with the "fly ash".
When I read the article, this is what I thought he was implying. I would have no problem with this.Randy B wrote: Now having said that, I will admit I have heard of one person who had a small measure of his ashes interred in World Showcase lagoon durring an Illuminations cruise and thought it was a touching tribute to someone who had been a big fan of such cruises.
