Before 9/11, I used to drive over to the Blue Angels hangar and pick up autographed posters of the Blues from their Public Affairs office to give them to our VIP visitors and a few of my friends. You could just walk in the gate, cross the interior parking area, and go right up into their office spaces. Now there's a cipher lock on the gate. Everything in their hangar is painted blue and gold (BA colors), including the walls. The last poster I got, which I had monogrammed with my name, is of the Blues flying over the World Trade Center while it was still standing. I'm remodeling my spare bedroom into a Disney room, but will save a spot on the wall for that poster.
WOW! What a poster that must be! Brings back a lot of emotion to see it probably! That would have been amazing to see in person.

I want that poster! I love the Blues and I love what the WTC was. I have a few posters and a model of memorial model of the towers and I also have a commenrative(sp?) coin of them.

The Blue Angels: The only subject for which the SGT folks find to be worth staying on-topic for three pages.
I miss the good ol' days when you could go onto parts of a military base. I remember my parents' good friends in Tucson, AZ, who invited us to see where the husband of the family worked. At six years old, I got to sit in the cockpit of a F-16. I wish I had been older when that happened, and I wish I could remember that. Then, they gave me a toy F-16 that I still have somewhere.
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Thanks. I should have more available later. I'll try to transfer either them or the other pics to Picasa but as Picasa doesn't like this POS computer I'll have to do it elsewhere.

I want a REAL F-16!!!! I could fly it to Florida to come to WDW for our trips!
Yaaaaaaaaaaahoooooooo! I would probably look like Slim Pickens on the bomb in the Dr. Strangelove movie, riding the front of the jet while Ralphie tried to get me to crawl back inside.
Man, I love those jets. They are so cool and the guys in uniform... swoon....I think I'm going to faint.......Medic! Medic! Oh wait...they have uniforms too, *faints again....swoon...swoon.... :D:
susi*I love a man in a uniform*slicker

A G-suit? Real pilots don't wear G-suits! The Blue Angels don't.

Shorty, it is not the G-suit that matters here, it's the fact that the guy has on a uniform! :D:
Ask any gal; firemen, policemen, pilots, soldiers, even a doctor in scrubs can be sexy..... :D:
Check out these guys:
What do ya think girls? Guys in uniforms? Sexy????? YES!!!!!!!
