I'll have some root beer... Sober's more fun so one can see Darph dancing with a lamp shade on his head and take blackmail photos.

That's just to warm up.

Darph, I'll tell you something about myself and my bride.

Just after we got married, we would go to weekend van rallies. Just camp in the van, live concerts, naked women and much beer. One time we went over the memorial day weekend to RI and we setup on Thursday. We had an old Coke machine that we converted into a beer machine. Yup, put in .50 and get a cold beer. It was our clubs icon. Well we were hauling the beer machine in our van and all the beer for it (as well as our own) It was in the ballpark of 15 cases. It was hot and we got there at noon. By the time the others got there on Friday afternoon, we were out of beer and the machine was empty. Yes, my wife and I drank 15 cases of beer in 1 day. We needed to go out and restock the beer machine and our supply.

Another helpful fact. If you drink lots of beer, you don't get Poison Ivy. We actually camped in poison ivy that weekend. Never got it, nor did anyone in the club (however, we did bring toilet paper).

Well, darph is safe for life! :D: Everytime we go to El Capitan (Santa Barbara) campsite I get Poison Ivy within 2 days. Hate this stuff. Am not a drinker so Cran your tip won't help. :( I have been told & believe this - those with Native American blood lines don't get Poison Ivy.

You gotta start carrying toilet paper.

Cranz, you and you wife drank "15" cases in one day? HOLY COW,(how's that churchy?)

Let's see,that's 7.5 cases each.7.5 x 24=180.Now 180 divided by 10/12 hrs= 15/18 beers/hr. NOW, given that you 'chugged' each beer in 3.33min. Not including 'piss' breaks,lunch,or the horizontal mumbo.
With the rotation of the earth being 'just' over 1000 mph, and the average speed of a naked marcupial being a little faster than the speed of a fart, there's is NO WAY you would be alive today.

Holy Cow is a bovine that belongs to a preacher and is eaten by the preachers family.

Your math is right and the story is a tall tale that was fabricated to compete with superior booze hounds.

Sorry guys, you forgot 1 thing. a day = 24 hours.

It was also hot as hell that day and we sweated most of it out.

(Ok, maybe it wasn't 15 but it was at least 10 cases. After all, it was 25 years ago)

Sure it wasn't 8 cases? After the first case the other seven looked like twice as many due to crossed eyes?
