Thanks again, CMs. I hope this posts saves its readers a few otherwise-wasted hours surfing the web for balanced WDW information.

What you say bears repeating! Well said! I won't be going back to Board D either. They flamed me for calling it a CM bashing board, but that is exactly what it turned into, one after another relating yet another "terrible experience" about CMs. And they cannot EVEN see that is what it became. *shakes head in sad disgust* :( I had hoped more of the people that purport to love Disney and all it stands for, but I am once again thumped on the head by reality. Oh well, I guess I can only live in Walt's Fantasy world WHEN I am there!

Wow, a thread that stays on topic

Hey, we have a thread for that!

When I get out of my bus at closing, I could be accused of almost screaming, because I want to be heard. That, or when I am packing everyone in the bus and the microphone doesn't work (grumble, grumble). But I am very, very loud on my bus, one way or another when we're closing. However, I think everyone thinks I am fun. Especially during the maniacal laugh lessons.

I've lurked many other Disney boards, especially as I was looking at making the move here, and the only one where I still post now beside here is TalkDisney.com. They lurve their Cast Members! I posted my story of becoming a Cast Member there from the first day I took action, and they just ate it up. I've had everything from accolades to one person who wanted to help me publish my story in book form. But then, a lot of that effect comes from the fact that many of them dream of being CMs, and so that changes the playing field in our favor. In fact, one of the discussions I've seen repeatedly there is how to treat us well when visiting the parks, with everything from a special way to say thank you to making sure they report the great people to City Hall. If someone has a problem with a Cast Member, the response is mostly disbelief. With all the problems people here have at Board X, it's nice to have another place where we capture the hearts and imaginations of the posters by the work we do every day.

I understand what you say about Board X having some cliques. I think that's why I've posted about five times and then just not been back; it just seemed that breaking in would be too difficult.

Of course, breaking in here took a little bit of work... but by the fifth post or so, I felt at home here.

Wow, the best comment to be found there. Talking about us here.

This thread reminds me of what happened to me on board MA. They started bashing me so I was stupid and defended myself and then flame after flame after flame started eventually getting me banned from there.

I hate cliquish boards. They're nothing but a bunch of passholes who think their shit doesn't stink and think they are better than anyone else. Especially at the Disney parks.

You know what is amazing to me, not that you care, but you have made an awful lot of assumptions about what happened that day, made an awful lot of assumptions about my character, and said some very nasty things here about me and attributed things to me that I didn't even say.

Some of you let your own emotions get in the way of what I was saying. My post was to express surprise at what happened because cast members in general are just so wonderful. And no, all 3 things that I mentioned did not happen on the same day. And how, pray tell, does a driver using a cell phone while driving be attributed to something I have done?

If you think my thread got into cast bashing, what gives you any more right here to guest bash?

Do I think that I did something to provoke what happened? NO. But I do think that the amount of rude guests that I ran into that day and the heat attributed to the cast member's moods. Even so, it doesn't give them the right to take it out on me.

It is amazing to me that several of you on this very board told me that I should have reported those cast members to City Hall, and then berated me because I chose not to.

Y'all need to make up your minds. I am open to intelligent discussions, but the slanderous things that have been said here about me when you don't even know me are ridiculous.

As I said, you won't care. You're too busy making yourselves feel better by being high and mighty and putting down someone you don't even know without even having firsthand knowledge of what happened.

The saddest part is that much of what has been said here has caused several people at least that I know of to have a much more jaded opinion of castmembers. And that's a shame. Because I do know how hard they work, and what they have to put up with. Which is why I usually go out of my way to make their job easier.

Much of what is posted on this board is hilarious. I am sorry that you felt that you had to make it a personal attack to get your point across. I would have listened a lot better if it had been a respectful discussion.

Now go ahead and get your jollies by dissecting this post and deciding what a moron I am and telling the world. In the end, it doesn't matter. I was there, and you weren't. I know what happened, what my motives were for doing what I did or didn't do, and you don't.

I suspect that thread would have died long before it did had it not been for some of the vehement and overboard responses over there from both sides. It's too bad you can't see that.

Have a magical evening yourself.

Hey look everyone: SG's do speak. They are so cute in their natural habitat...

Lucystorm, a word of advice: check out the spotlight effect. Just because you THINK the world is about you, doesn't mean it is. You are an SG. Get over it.

You seem to think that it's a personal thing to you. The reality is, it's not. You are an SG in the sea of child ignoring sg's. Your "complaint" was invalid and now you try to validate it. Move along. You are no different than any other over reactive SG who ignores their children in real life and makes posts calling cast members "morons" (please refer to post one of your own post for your comment calling them a moron).

Your claim that a "lot" of people see CM's differently now is so beyond ridiculous that I cannot pause long enough for the idiocity of it to catch up to this thread.

You are an SG. If there were not morons like you, this site would not exist. I personally thank you for your habits.

And perhaps, ICStupidPeople, you see stupid people because you are looking in the mirror.

Oh wait, no, that can't be it, because you couldn't possibly be guilty of what you have just accused me of.

Get over it. It's pretty clear that you aren't making generic accusations here.

And guess what, SG that I am, I can be just as rude as you.

Seriously lady, move on.

Is your insecurity level that high that you must try to fix it? You look a bit silly here and you look a bit silly in your post on the moron board. Get over it and move on. Really, it would be best. Signing up here to try to justify your bad behavior = over the top. If you spent as much time with your kids or exercising as you do trying to justify your bad behavior, you would be surprised at how much better behaved they would be and how good you would feel.

Yet I misinterpreted when I mistook your earlier words as being about me, huh? I was just being egocentric and looking for the spotlight effect?

What's the matter? Is it a little more uncomfortable for you if someone is actually here calling you out on your misinformation?

If you want to bash someone, you should expect that they might get tired of it and defend themselves.

What are you, omniscient? You were there when those things happened so that you absolutely know that I caused them? Must be great to be able to be so all knowing.

Oh, and your bon bon eating and child raising assumptions are really ludicrous.

If you want to have an intelligent discussion about what really happened, I will be happy to. But I will not sit still and let you be comfortable when you start calling my character into question.

You can't have it both ways...
