Truth be told, if you learn to control it (and I mean true ADD, not this stuff that kids are diagnosed with daily), Attention Deficit can be a great asset to a driver. It can help you stay awake, you notice EVERYTHING that happens around you, and you hyperfocus on what you are doing. In fact, when I am driving, in my mind everything happens in slow motion because I allow the ADD to kick in and now I am mentally rocketing around the road and around my bus.

So for me, having ADD in a driving job (and I was one of the first five in Oregon to be diagnosed with Attention Deficit without the Hyperactivity) is a great thing.

Still OT, but this is from a recent Steven Wright routine: "My nephew has HDADD. High-Definition Attention Deficit Disorder. He can barely pay attention, but when he does it's amazingly clear!" :)

I'm from Texas, we put our beers down (no alcohol abuse here!) and pull out our guns, unless the bottle is empty, then you toss it as a distraction then pull out your gun
:D:

Reminds me of a joke, How many kids with ADD does it take to change a lightbulb?

Wanna go ride bikes?

I love that joke! Ha ha ha!

Now, what was I going to post? Hmm, I can't think of what it was, for the life of me! Geez! Why do I always do this? Every time I go to... post... something... I... forget... what... I... was...

Hey, look! A flower!
