I suppose you also need to look up the word "dictionary" in the dictionary, too. A thesaurus is not a dictionary.
The word "discrimination" has a rather specific meaning that the synonyms you highlighted do not -- that someone is intentionally singling someone out for unfair treatment.

As I mentioned previously: when you, and I don't mean you, specifically, cross over the boundary that is your seat into mine, that is where your (again, not you specifically) rights end, and mine begin.
But the important question is still on the table -- is it that passengers fault that he spills over into the other seat? It has very much gotten to the point where it isn't the morbidly obese people who are spilling over anymore. Nowadays, you can spill over just for being too tall. I'm only six feet even and I can barely sit with my knees straight anymore.

Since my attempt to deffuse your attempted escalation of this debate has failed, I will oblige you one last time.

Your beef is with SWA, not me. So, if you feel you are being "discriminated against," call your lawyer. Call the ACLU. Call whomever you want.
Or, you can learn the words to this song:
Put one foot in front of the other
And soon you’ll be walking cross the floor
Put one foot in front of the other
And soon you’ll be walking out the door
You never will get where you’re going
If you never get up on your feet
Come on, there’s a good tail wind blowing
A fast walking man is hard to beat

And, with that, I bid you adieu. Have a magical day.

You're right, I was referring to your post.
Too bad, too -- seeing your face covered in egg would have been such a cool photo op, too...

I absolutely adore the show Airline (on at 3 & 3:30 on A&E) mostly because it shows SGs not getting their own selfish, inconsiderate way! Do you think if more people watched that show, it would make them appreciate those of us that work in the service industry??? (CMs, retail, food service, guest service in general)
Or is that just too much "Pollyanna-ish" thinking???
ps. My kids often watch Airline with me after school and I comment on the SGs on the show...translation = I am trying to prevent my kids from becoming SGs in every sense of the word.

It is human nature to watch something and think or even say that what the saw was wrong while turning around and doing that same exact wrong thing. I catch myself being a stupid guests way too often and know better usually. The people who watch Airline also are the same stupid guests the next day who do the things they saw on that show.
You cannot teach a stupid guest how to be smart and to think.
