Guest #1: Does this ride have a flash pass?
Me: No. We don't have Fastpass for Matterhorn. The line is 20 minutes.
Guest #1: Only 20 minutes? The line is all the way around the thing.
Me: Yes but the line moves really fast.
Guest #2: (standing directly behind Guest #1 and listening the whole time) So this ride doesn't have the pass thingy?
Me: No. We don't have Fastpass for Matterhorn.
Guest #2: You don't have Fastpass for Matterhorn?
Me: Nope.
Guest #2: Well that's stupid. But the line's only 20 minutes?
Me: (in my head) No you stupid idiot. What part of that last conversation didn't you understand? Do you comprendo? Sprichen english? For the love of all that is holy!!!
(outloud) Yup. The line is only 20 minutes.
Guest #3: (the one that's waited in line for the 20 minutes and is now standing next to me by the turnstile) Maybe those people would know this ride doesn't have a Fastpass if they would read the map they have open in their hands.
Me: God forbid. Then I'd be out of a job.
Me: No. We don't have Fastpass for Matterhorn. The line is 20 minutes.

Games
ARGH........ The Movie Game was the Best. So spending all my time at the Mark Twain... seeing those poor thunder kids go through the same thing we did at Space... I walked over and introduced the Movie Game and the Fastpass slinky! So there was that... and then there was a lot of jumping or limbo under that rope that they gave us. It was mucho exciting.
The water is green for a reason
Not quite sure what that reason is,
but it's green for a reason Kids!

I have never herd of the Movie Game or Fastpass slinky. Although my favorate one is where the guests change the name of the fastpass to something that already has a name like speedpass, and I have even had somebody call it an E-pass. I didn't know that they took those expensive toll roads enough to use one of those. I always have fun with those ones and tell them exactly where they can get whatever they are asking for, eventhough it is nothing like what they thought it was. aka a fastpass ticket

Guest: They should put up signs telling you that the rides are closedBirdMom wrote:Do they still post the closures out at the ticket booths? You know - the listing of all the rides that are closed for maintenance/rehab/whatever?
Not that it does any good anyway, gawd forbid that some of those dopes actually take the time to read and digest the information that is available to them...
Me: we do
Guest: I didn't see any
Me: Really ? you didn't see the signs out at the enterance on the ticket windows or on the internet?
Guest:blank stare...(screaming at the top of his lungs)I can't believe you guys can charge this much and still have so many closed rides.
Me: ok did you get the description..?
Guest: of what ?
Me: the person who held the gun to you head and made you come here this morning.
Guest :( walks off in a huff)
-"You know when Disneyland opened in 1955 nothing went right"
-"Yes John but when the Pirates of The Carribean Breaks down the pirates don't eat the tourists"
-(At the Indy queue) And over there we have Patrick...either that or Indiana Jones has really let himself go.

I havn't gotten to use this yet.. but I like it as an answer.. and I promise I will eventually.. especially on those busy days working M&F tolls in the morning.
Lady: I have a college degree.. and I couldn't find your stupid parking stucture entrance! You guys need signs!!!!
Me: Actually ma'am... The guy who is in charge of putting up the signs IS here today.. And being that he is here today I doubt we fired him... Which means he probably is doing his job correctly... Which probably means you missed the signs on the way in... Sorry for the inconvenience. (I'd like to replace "the inconvenience" with "your incompetence" but I like my job too much.)

Ok... this is just something I head from a friend who use to work P.Pier Foods... she has a tendancy to make stuff up to sound interesting though..BB Blueyes wrote:
I had a couple of guests do that, it was hella messy, but cheaper. The fun part was that you cut open your favorite characters without getting in trouble. It wasn't hard since those things popped a seam all the time anyway.
It basically involves one of those giant pigs they use to (don't know if they still do) give away as grand prizes for the canival games.. and one of the trash compactors. You do the math.
*POOOF*

The FP slinky is fun. You just get a whole bunch of blank FPs still attached to each other and then throw it at someone but it comes back to you. They freak because they think they're gonna get hit.coldfire409 wrote:I have never herd of the Movie Game or Fastpass slinky.
I can't tell you about the Movie Game on this site though. It's not that kind of site. Ok it is but still...

About 95% of the questions we get are answered either 1) by a very visible sign at our shop, or 2) on their rental receipt.BirdMom wrote: Not that it does any good anyway, gawd forbid that some of those dopes actually take the time to read and digest the information that is available to them...
btw i agree with you guys: if guests came to Disneyland with the same intellect that I damn well hope they have in their normal lives, this website wouldnt exist and we wouldnt be able to share the fun stories at bars, Denny's until 5am, or alki parties at someone's house for those under 21.
