Ok, so I've figured out that it'll have to be a Thursday, just the way my schedule works out and since this was my idea and all, I think I'm entitled to pick the day of the week. So, the Thursdays in October and November are...Oct 6, 13, 20, 27 (might have a midterm on this one) Nov 3, 10 (the day before Veteran's Day), 17, 24 (Thanksgiving)

So, to me it looks like the most plausible ones are Oct 6, 13, 20 Nov 3, or 17 I'm not sure about rehab schedules, but I'm sure something will be down for all of these dates. So, I guess what we need to do is figure out which day is best for the most people. And rather than make this a 20 page thread, just everyone PM me and I'll tally it all...or if one of the moderators wants to make this into a poll, that'd be cool to, I couldn't figure out how to do it.

Once we've figured out the date there'll be other questions, who has sign-ins, who needs them, when/where to meet, wear matching shirts, or not, have an itinerary or just play it by ear (which could be tough with 40 people) and I'm sure I can think of many more.

Ok, I didn't get much response in my PMs so either most of you don't care when we go or aren't planning on going. But with the few I got looks like it'll be October. I'm thinking earlier in October might be better depending on when rehabs end and which ones are important to us. Mansion will probably be down on the 6th, so maybe the 13th?? Alright, I'll make an executive decision, October 13th is the date, unless I find out something when it gets closer to make that a bad day. :)

Ok, now I guess we need to figure out who's gonna go, who'll be there all day and who will join us later. So, I guess PMs again?? How many will be with you (friends or family) and why don't we make it have sign-ins available or need sign-ins also or if you're covered cause you have an AP or something. I'll find a way to keep track of all this. :)

Not sure I can afford to get out to CA, but it sounds like fun.

I've got a question I'm not entirely sure of the answer to, but I figure someone on here will know. Can a WDW CM use their ID card to get into DLR? (I know I can use my maingate and take guests, but if it were going to be only me, I'm not sure I'd want to use a day off the maingate for that)

Must be acomanied by the Main Gate Pass. Same goes for us DLR CMs at WDW. I think the portal says it somewhere.

Stduck is right, but I know that DLR CMs using their pass in WDW do not get the passes stamped, so I would assume that the same applies out here.

if i was your skipper, then how could i join your group? I would almost volunteer, to do it PCO style, but it would be the day that either A, leads were running aroudn on safari doing speil checks, or B, we'd round switxer falls, and there would be a boat with management, a lead, mystery guests... and DOSH, maybe they could just hand me the mic, and i could do it from my seat, and let me shoot the hippos. let me know when!

You have such a creative mind! Always make me laugh :D: I can just see Matt Ouimet, mystery guest & DOSH on our boat. Real life @ DLR & just our luck

You could probably do it with the mic from your seat, I know we've done that sometimes at book, when people are with their family or whatever and want to do their spiel for them.

So, once again, it'll be on October 13th, I'd like to have PMs so I could have a record of a headcount that I can easily check, otherwise I'll forget. Also, shall we decide if we want to match in any way, it'll definetely make it easier on the ride ops we deal with. I already have one vote for purple shirts, and a lot of votes for anything but red. :) The other thing we could do is all order a SGT button (or what would be a little cheaper is to go in a few at a time and buy a pack of 10, or however they're sold)
