A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.

At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.
Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

The doors were double locked on the inside, there is not way into the room without a grappling hook or acrobatic moves, and all their stuff was there. Probably a suicide/murder or joint suicide.
It took Calvin a while to read out loud the news article. How could people go unnoticed on that ship. I told him it was very easy to come on board and not be seen for the entire cruise. You can bring your own food and beverages as well as bring to your room food and get room service. Room service comes by daily so unless there is a bloody mess they will not care. It is very possible to just walk of at a port and not come back or jump overboard. The railings are way too high to have a couple lean over too far.

OMG We went to see the Jonas Brothers last night and let me tell you those kids worked their tails off. They are real musicians and great performers.
My daughter has not landed. She literally bounced up and down the entire time. I called it her "Tigger factor" and noticed that the "Tigger factor" elavated when Joe was singing *laugh*.
I'm still recovering from the whole event it was SO freezing between parking and the venue. I can hardly move.
I should say I went to hear the Jonas Brothers because even though we had a perfect view of the video screens, I couldn't make out their faces. :( A real slap in the face realizing how bad it's getting. I get around the house okay but the second I go out, I am completely dependant on another person to be sure I don't A) kill myself and B) get killed by others who don't realize I can't see.
Earplugs were a good thing- the audience sang along with every single song (which really helped break up the screaming and I found it to be absolutely adorable at this show where it would have annoyed me to no end at any other LOL. It was like one angelic adolescent girl voice all those little voices joined into one. I felt like I was mother to the whole assembly and I just loved em all. The audience was, really, very well behaved and rather adorably star-struck.
Depressing as hell to realize though that I could pretty much be mother to the BAND too. *sigh* I feel so old today.
Moving through the crowds was absolutely terrifying. My daughter kept hold of me and didn't let go. She was so careful watching out for me.
She is such a good kid...
We now officially have renamed the venue Joe Jonas Arena...
xoxo

I'm eating jelly bellys from a baby shower we had here at work today. Someone bought the assorted flavors and now I'm trying to figure out which flavor is which. I somehow when from cinnamon to strawberry and from chocolate to root beer. I'm not too sure of the white ones that have black flecks. Vanilla bean? or some weird coconut?

This might help.

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Yep. That's why I couldn't bring myself to open the bag of "Berie Bott's Every Flavor Beans" my mom got me a few years back when the first Harry Potter movie came out. That and I think they had a flavor listing for (wincing) snot (eeeeewwwww!).

Hey, we are on page 299. Who's going to be the poster that bumps us to page 300?
I tried to be good. I waited and I still have another 30 seconds to go before it will let me post.
