Susi, when you were a DJ did you ever work at KRAB or KRAP in the SF area?

Hope all is well with everyone. Have not been on the pooter much these past days. Getting ready for our trip to DL. We leave Tuesday morning and will be there for a week. Hope to see some of you there. Will try to look you up at your various attractions, restaurants etc...

I torked my back out agian. I must have turned or twisted it, cause the muscle on the left side where I had all the problems is in agony. I don't think it is a permanent condition, just a pulled muscle and it will heal. It hurts though!

Happy Holidays to everyone. I will try to keep in touch over the Christmas week via pooter at the DL Hotel Concierge Lounge. Unfortunately we will not be taking guests up there this next week, it is too busy and they don't like too many guests when it is packed for the holidays...

See ya at the Parks soon!
Love to all and to all a good Christmas! :xmaspalm: :tree: :snowman: :xwin: :menorah: :elf: :tree:

Rest your back when you can... If you're going to do In-park Meet ups, I can't get the hubby in due to Main Gate Cast pass blackout between the 20th - the 2nd... Have a safe trip...The hubby says to say hello.

No Cannot say that I did! hehehehehe

Well, we are at the Fairfield Inn near DIA and readying ourselves for a flight to rainy So Cal. At least I HEAR there is rain. We got our Micky Ponchos at the ready. We shall be there this afternoon, if our plane gets off the ground...<shudder> You heard about the flight that did not quite make off the ground here at DIA a couple days ago. I hope we don't hit too much turbulence over the mountains. There is a big snow storm there. At least it is not snowing here.

Anyway all the best to all of you for a warm and safe and happy Christmas, Hanukkah or whatever you celebrate. I already celebrated on the 21st. Damn pagan...hehehehehehe

I will try to get pooter time at the lounge in the DL Hotel whilst we are there.

Talk to you soon!

A Husband and wife are shopping in their local Wal-Mart. The husband picks up a case of Budweiser and puts it in their cart.

“What do you think you're doing?” asks the wife.

“They're on sale, only $10 for 24 cans.” he replies.

“Put them back, we can't afford them.” The wife demands.

A few aisles further later the woman picks up a $20 jar of face cream and puts it in the basket.

“What do you think you're doing?” asks the husband.

“It’s my face cream. It makes me look beautiful.” replies the wife.

Her husband retorts, “So does 24 cans of Budweiser and it's half the price!”

A few minutes later a voice on the PA system announces, “Cleanup needed on aisle 25. We have a husband down.”

Don't know about SF area stations, but I did a very brief stint on a station calling itself KRAP from somewhere in Culver City. It was a bootleg station with 500W at 87.9MHz on a crank-up tower. We only went on the air on nights with good fog cover and no games on the TV. The frequency was just outside the FM band, but you could usually pick it up on channel 6 TV (which didn't have a local station in L.A.).

It was fun and exciting, but our DJs had the absolute *worst* taste in music! I think even Yoko Ono albums would have been an improvement. I never did listen except when I was at the station.

There was a country, western station in Gilroy, CA whose call sign was KFAT. The had a beer can label for a station logo.
