At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.
Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

When a plant is called herbaceous, it means that the stems are soft or succulent and green, as opposed to brown and woody. Generally soft, green, herbaceous growth will die back to the ground in cold, winter climates. I stopped at Taco Bell to get mom a personal pizza. First of all they do not tell me until I get to the window that they are out of supremes and do I mind pulling around to wait 7 minutes or take a pepperoni. They charged me for a Supreme. I get the pizza and then get in line behind two cars to exit onto Studebaker. We wait and wait and wait and the bleeping idiot in the SUV was holding the line because she was picking up someone who got off the bus. Like stupid that is what the curb and parking spaces are for. Thankful for microwaves.

Hey there!
Hope all is well with everyone. Have not been on the pooter much these past days. Getting ready for our trip to DL. We leave Tuesday morning and will be there for a week. Hope to see some of you there. Will try to look you up at your various attractions, restaurants etc...
I torked my back out agian. I must have turned or twisted it, cause the muscle on the left side where I had all the problems is in agony. I don't think it is a permanent condition, just a pulled muscle and it will heal. It hurts though!
Happy Holidays to everyone. I will try to keep in touch over the Christmas week via pooter at the DL Hotel Concierge Lounge. Unfortunately we will not be taking guests up there this next week, it is too busy and they don't like too many guests when it is packed for the holidays...
