A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.
Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

DLR SGs all around today!!!!!!!

10 year old girl AND HER MOTHER faking catching up with "Dad" to the front of POTC line, way to go, Mom, teaching her to lie to take advantage of others! Then FLASHERS right behind us on boat gave me a headache from the flash going off in my peripheral vision, and irritated my son with autism to no end! He said loudly, "Mom, there are SGs on this boat, and I am too sensitive for that light! :p: " People with autism will just say the truth! I was glad he did, and put up my hand over my eyes to protect them, extending my middle finger ever so slightly! Anyway, they finally stopped.....

Otherwise, a good day.....

I just use my official voice "NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY", it usually stops. Otherwise I just confront the SG.

They were pretty thick, continuing on despite our verbalized complaints. I was tempted to whirl around and smack the camera into the water
However, the fact that we've been on POTC about 30 times this year made me hold back.....Makes me feel for those who go only once in a lifetime and
have the SGs ruin it for them.
Another weird thing that happened, no SG trick, but on Star Tours there was WATER dripping on me during the entire ride. Very distracting, as I kept waiting for it to fall again instead of concentrating on the ride. Hubby said R2D2 was Peeing on me!

Anyway, I told a CM in case there was a safety concern, but more likely, it was water left over from cleaning something

I was once at the Mansion earlier this year after the Haunted Mansion had its holiday over lay up. A SG was trying to take pictures around the ride, and I was about 3 cars behind her. We were in Madam Leota's room and she raised her camera to take a photo. I made my voice go loud and scary,"STOP! There is a curse associated with taking photos in the Mansion! You don't want to anger the spirits!" And I pointed right at her. "I mean it!"
*giggle* I didn't mention the spirits raised were the other guests that would get mad if she kept taking photos Hehe.
Also: I was at Plaza Inn and one of the drains under one of the chicken stations wasn't draining properly so one of the facilities people came out to fix it. He pumped something down one drain pipe and then something in one of the other pipes went SQUIRT! and hit the ceiling. This happened after Plaza had closed for the night.

No... Plaza Inn did not send anything to squirt on you. :p:
It was probably a Sith saboteur drooling at some sexy woman and wanting to turn her Sith for a hot date.

Maybe Star Tours building is leaking like Honey I Shrunk the Audience, lol.
I am supposed to go to New Hamshire next year and have the room reserved and the convention tickets but was so upset last night. I WANT TO GO TO WDW. The sweeps people from the past have been hounding me so I have to go so as to show up and show I still love sweepstaking. I rather spend 10 days in WDW but the room and ECV and admission and food and stuff would cost over $2000 and I do have my reputation in New Hampshire to live up to.
I rather be safe in WDW eating safe foods than planning a trip to NH where I would have to find things to do, do so much driving, and risk bad food.
City is not come back yet and the house is started with painting.
I want to go to WDW so bad. Somebody just shoot me.

Yes Ktulu, you are right. His Suburban can hold lots of beer. Never thought bout this. ;) As you can tell.... I'm NOT a beer drinker. :)
