Stupid Guest Tricks

my abbott and costello day at the restaurant.

I want: the 2 enchilada dinner with beans, the rice on the side. a side enchilada. all to go.
I want also: an iced tea in a to go cup for here and a small bowl of cole slaw in place of the salad and also for here.

He kept going around in circles with the order, how hard was it to get one dinner box and put beans and two enchiladas then get a side box and fill with rice then get another side box and put in one enchilada. ARGHHHHHHH :mad:

I got the cole slaw and iced tea.

I took home:
dinner sized box with two enchiladas and beans
dinner sized box with one enchilada and beans
side of mexican rice
side of mexican rice.
2 cups of dry salsa.

What I wanted:
dinner sized box with two enchiladas and beans
side order sized box with mexican rice
side order sized box with one enchilada
one cup of dry salsa.

the extra beans are in the trash and the extra rice is in the fridge.

Reminds me of the old Bloom County comic where some of the characters are in a fast food drive-thru, trying desperately to make the server understand their order, but all they hear back from the speaker is "Mbmgh mbmflgh mbmmrhd dfimblhh??"

Finally they drive up in frustration, and the server greets them in person at the window,... saying "Mbmgh mbmflgh mbmmrhd dfimblhh??" :)

We found some at Trader Joes that are made of brown crispie rice.

Not as good as making the original....

I have determined tho that the Tasty Kake brand is no where near as good as the actual Kellogg's kind.

They are not all that bad, its just that it tastes like they put extra sugar in it! Too sweet!! But if I was tramping around the park, they would be just the thing for a pick-me-up (with RUM...OR Water of course!!)

I honestly do not know but the price was ok and about normal.

There was a skit with a dude that got angry on a date. IT was about the waiter asking senseless questions so that to take the order then his date rattles off her order.

Something like this.

Guest: I will have a steak, baked potato, and a Coca Cola.
Waiter: how would you like that cooked
Guest: Medium
Waiter: type of steak
Guest: huh
Waiter then lists 15 types of steak
Guest: Porterhouse
Waiter: Trimmed or untrimmed
Guest: huh
Waiter do you want the fat trimmed or untrimmed
Guest: trimmed
Waiter: size
Guest: huh
Waiter rattles of 10 sizes
Guest: uh petit grande
Waiter: rubbed or not rubbed
Guest: JUST GIVE ME A STEAK, BAKED POTATO AND COCA COLA
Waiter: Fine sir I will do that. What would the lady like?
Date: A New York steak lightly salted with Chilean sea salt, lightly rubbed with cajun style rub, grande petite, lightly trimmed, medium well done, no marinade or pine nuts. Baked idaho potato gently rubbed in Irish sea salt with devonshire sour cream, minced chives and low salt French butter. Diet cherry coca coal with cracked perrier ice in a waterford crystal glass, please.
