Official SGT ADD thread

At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.
Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

OK, Hobie, I've seen Susi's suitcase and I think I can jam myself in there....
Dec 2009 sounds like a wonderful time to visit! ;)
Now if I can just convince Susi to stop at DLR first so I can crawl into that case! :p:

I am not sure. You just told me they plan on doing the vow renewal in December, 2009 in Hawaii. It is a long time yet, so I will get more details as the time comes. I am excited, both for their 35 years together and my first trip to Hawaii!hobie16 wrote:First question. Which island?
This is my best friend from high school and we lost track of one another until we made plans to meet up at WDW in 2006 for a trip. That was our first sight of one another after 35 yrs or so, walking out of the doors of the giant toaster and seeing her standing there, looking exactly like she did when we were 1819 Wow! That was a moment I will never forget!
We had found each other at the Class reunion site in 2005. It took a bit of searching, but we connected again after not seeing one another since 1973, it is a long story why we lost touch...but needless to say it is the best thing in the world that we found each other again and remain close friends to this day.
We are going to see them in California on our October trip. They actually live pretty near my mom and dad in Northern California! Anyway.....
WOWIE ZOWIE Captain America! That is a good start on do's and don'ts! Yay hobie! You da man! :D: And we definitely want to stop in and bug, er,I mean visit with you I certainly do NOT plnn on joining them on their second honeymoon

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

If they do decide on West Maui I can make some recommendations on places for dinners, etc.Princess Susi wrote:I am not sure. You just told me they plan on doing the vow renewal in December, 2009 in Hawaii.
One of the sayings about Maui is there's either a wedding planner or wedding photographer under every rock. I can ask around for recommendations for that too.
Weather in December should be pretty good. November is the month to avoid as that's when we get the Kona storms. Last year's even surprised the old timers with the amount of rain we got.

It was probably the Old Lahaina Luau. It's in the Mala area of Lahaina.Purpura wrote:My in-laws went to a luau in Lahaina with my daughter if I remember correctly.

OK, today I had someone think that when I said the doctor might order a Stress Test, I meant an EMOTIONAL Stress Test.
No, the EMOTIONAL Stress Test is what I experience at work everyday, THANK YOU!(Cardiac Stress Test is what I was talking about)

Speakin of bunnies...anyone here familiar with Happy Bunny and his sayings? Or, for that matter, The Book of Bunny Suicides? (Or should I say Books...there's more than one...) :D:
I <3 bunnies. They're so cute and fluffy. But they bite...really hard. So do dogs. Trust me, I know...I've been bitten by both. :(
Wow, this is a really long thread...259 pages...(and counting!)
