I was looking at the XBR, but Jill didn't want to part with the money. I did manage to stay away from the S series, Best Buy was out of that model, and the manager gave me another $150 off the sale price on the V, so we went for it.hobie16 wrote:I'm thinking a 40" Z model. Soon. :D:

Re: Wall-E
Ralphie went to Walmart last night to be there at midnight and he got the vewry first copy. One of the workers there is a freind of Ralphies and went back to the truck and grabbed two copies at midnight. One for Ralphie and and one for him. We get the computer game free with it. I am so stoked...but
I have to admit a bit guiltily, I am so looking forward to Twilight coming out Friday. Of course I won't go that day, too many screaming tweens, so I will wait, but it looks like a great film. I have read Books 1 and 2 in the series and am working on number 3 right now. Then the fourth and last. I see a movie series in the making.
Oh well, I am going to watch Wall-e tomorrow morning first thing. I am tired. I went through a 500 page book in two days and a 498 page book in a day and I am already started on another 500 and something page book (The Twilight series) They really are very good.
I LOVE WALL-e!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I ended up with the standard DVD, Jill didn't want to pick up the Bluray without having a Bluray player. We asked Abby if she wanted to watch it last night, she said no, she wanted to watch The Parent Trap instead!

Ahhh! and they closed our local Disney Store last year *sniff*DisneyMom wrote:Just picked up Wall-E at the Disneystore, there is a plethora of new items including a Wall-E Christmas ornament and big plushies :D:
I wonder if Disneyshopping has them! *clicks open a new browser...*
Of course my littlest WallE action figure would make a great ornament! I just have to wire him up to the tree.
edit: they DO have the ornament online! He's so stinking cute!!!

Re: Wall-E
That is on the disc, but she likes the original :)DisneyMom wrote:Is that the one where Lindsay used to be cute?![]()
Last night after we put her to bed, she was up playing around so Jill went to check on her. She managed to get some anti-bacterial gel that was up there, spread it on the little stool she uses to climb into her bed and was putting her feet in it. Jill asked what she was doing, she said she was pretending she was Susan from the parent trap and was putting her feet in the water, like in the movie.
We did a better job of securing the gel...
