Official SGT ADD thread

At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.
Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

I got suckered into becoming president of our homeowner's association. I never realized how loopy people can be with their complaints and whining. Today I got a call from one of our goofier owners. He started off with, "The home next to me has been rented to what appears to be five young ladies from Australia. I heard laughing and screaming coming from their pool area and looked out the second floor window to see them all topless around the pool having a great time."
"So what's the problem?" I asked.
"There's no problem." he replied. "I just wondered if you wanted to come over."

Hehe, sounds like it is a tough job,but someone has to do it.... ;)
Being a regular on this board should be mandatory for all of us in customer service related positions....Nothing should surprise us!
BUT- I did see on Inside Edition tonight hidden cameras depicting the "Cleaning" of Hotel room glasses and Coffee Mugs. One was from a Hotel in Orlando, can't recall which one, in which the Hotel Maid, wearing her Disney CM badge, was being less than hygienic in cleaning the hotel glasses/mugs left in a room...Ewww.
The piece was not on Disney hotels specifically, and many other examples were shown, but you all might want to use disposable cups in ANY hotel you happen to stay at!

Sounds like a variation on the old joke about the guy who steps into the confessional booth and says, "Father, I'm not Catholic, but last night I fornicated with six Swedish bikini models." "Well, son," the priest asks, "If you're not Catholic, why are you telling me?" The man replies, "Heck, Father, I'm telling everybody!" :D:hobie16 wrote:I got suckered into becoming president of our homeowner's association. Purpura thanks you, and hugs back, and takes over the computer from her hubby.
My computer is down at the moment, and will get fixed. Only a little blinky light went on saying that the computer was getting power but nothing else was functioning. I hope we can get all the stuff off of it, if it's not repairable *mutter grumble* I want to throw it out the window *giggle*
Clbeilby takes over computer again
