Re: Non Florida Residents using Florida Resident Tickets
Just an FYI, this site runs on a Linux server. Quite a few websites run some flavor of Linux because it is much more secure than Windows. Quite often security flaws in Linux are discovered and fixed before they can be exploited by crackers while in Windows the opposite occurs, most often the flaws are discovered because a cracker exploited them and they are fixed sometime later.Mr. D. wrote:I prefer a real OS written by real programers. Not something written by a bunch of high school kids that pretend to be programers. Ever wonder why their stuff is free????
From the Linux Wikipedia entry:
If Linux was programmed by a "bunch of high school kids" do you think it would the OS of choice for servers, mainframes, super computers, etc.? The Android system, used by a large number of cell phones and other mobile devices is Linux based. As of February 2012 there were over 300 million Android devices in use with over 850,000 activated DAILY. (source)It is a leading operating system on servers and other big iron systems such as mainframe computers and supercomputers:[12][13][14][15] more than 90% of today's top 500 supercomputers run some variant of Linux,[16] including the 10 fastest.[17] Linux also runs on embedded systems (devices where the operating system is typically built into the firmware and highly tailored to the system) such as mobile phones, tablet computers, network routers, televisions[18][19] and video game consoles; the Android system in wide use on mobile devices is built on the Linux kernel.
Google's servers run on a customized version of Linux (source) and another customized version of Linux is used internally by their employees (source). Google only happens to be the largest search engine in the world!
This survey shows that most Linux users are between the ages 30 and 39 and the second largest groups to be between 20 and 29. Teenagers make up the second smallest group (70+ being the smallest). (source) High schoolers? Not for the most part.
Care to continue saying Linux is written by a bunch of high-schoolers and nor real programmers?

Yep. Everyone here can personally attack me, but when I make a joke towards another member I get banned.CujoSR wrote:This is Rumor Control:

Oh well, typical of a group of people that are so up tight and conceded they have to make a board to bad mouth the very people that pay their checks.
Oh and I am sure you will delete these post since it pains you so much to hear the truth about your little board. Go ahead talk about how much you hate the guest that visit the parks. I mean, without them you have no job, no pay check, no life (since then you wouldn't have this board to go power hungry on and ban people for thinking differently.)
Oh and I know you will ban this name and prob ban this IP but no worries I WILL be back again. I ALWAYS come back. I lurk for a while, jump in with a comment here and there. Make the mistake of actually speaking my opinion and you guys bash for. So I'll see you all soon.
I have never really been a, as you retards call it, "Troll", but i think I will make this site my sole TROLLING site.
P.S. Zazu, I think you are the biggest ass hole. Everyone else here agrees, they are just too chicken shit to speak their mind and say so.
(Now THAT is a personal attack)
Re: Non Florida Residents using Florida Resident Tickets
I have 2 PC's running on Windows XP both frm the same disk and code. My friend is using the SAME disk and code on his PC running Windows XP and has been for years. SO that makes 3 PC's all running form the SAME copy of XP with the SAME code. None have been shut down.ktulu wrote:Well, last time I saw someone use a duplicate key, it got shutdown.
So tell me another one?

And for circumventing a ban you can expect to get banned again as soon as a mod come on.Big_D wrote:Yep. Everyone here can personally attack me, but when I make a joke towards another member I get banned.

Wonderful. That should make it MUCH easier to hack.

No system is completely secure, some are just more secure than others.Big_D wrote:So is the Federal web sites, and they have been hacked MANY time sin the past few months.

I guess this one is on the fast track to being locked. No loss, if trying to play by the rules puts me on a high horse, so be it. The world will always have scam artists and freeloaders. As long as folks like Mr D are around, prices will continue to go up in part from them scaming. He seems to be able to sleep at night, good for him.
