Don't be silly, Bozo repellant doesn't exist.

If it did, Cast Members would have surrounded the Parks with a moat of the stuff!

has anyone seen purpura and cbeilby? I am worried as they seem to have dissappeared from the face of earth. I am getting worried about them and at the same time set here with no sound on the computer and am thinking of new ways to torture plushies.

I am now planning a trip soon for mom and me, maybe Universal Studios. The problem is finding a cheap hotel chain that i am a member of and in western LA county.

We've been really busy, her with work, me with rebuilding my computer, which thankfully is back up and running. I'll be up sometime next week with your new sound card.

Returned from Disneyland last night and WOW, a great Day! Father and Mother-in-law had a great time, no major ECV crashes, and we stayed out of the heat for the most part! :) I did have to warn a few to stay out of the way before they got crushed by ECV, but that was part of the fun!
We ate at Plaza Inn (didn't see Purpura :( ) And a Special Thank You to Eeyore
who walked all the way over to our table from the spot he was entertaining others for a hello to MIL and FIL. Eeyore Rocks!
The Flag Retreat Ceremony was very special for all of us,FIL participated and all of us were nearly brought to tears.
We couldn't leave without one mishap- I thought everyone was going to our shuttle so I told everyone to go ahead as was giving pins to two little girls who participated in Flag Retreat. I left park, went to our shuttle, nobody there! I eventually called my son with Autism and told him where I was and that I'd wait for them (they were at the Emporium) at the Bag Check area
at the entrance.....
So the message he gave my Hubby......
Mom is having to stay with Security, they are keeping her there!
It was easily cleared up when I talked to hubby, but gave him a little scare :p:

KBF trip report:
DH and I went to KBF yesterday. Our DLR APs have expired and we had a coupon for $29.95. Married seven years, we had never been there together. The place was fairly well kept up, I was surprised after reading all the posts on KBF Drama and FelineFan's posts. They are almost done building "Pony Express". But, there really isn't much for old fogies like us to do (we're in our fifties). I went on Ghost Rider which I liked, and the cool thing was there is a greeter who hands out little slips of paper that say "This ticket is to prevent line cutting. Hand it to the operator when you board." I thought it was a pretty good idea. The queue is pretty much self-contained, so I didn't see how anyone could cut, but I'm sure they have found a way.

We liked walking around Ghost Town, and the best thing is they have real people doing craft demos and a teacher in the old school house, and you can talk to them. Sad-eye Joe is still in the jail and he still speaks to guests.

The only SG's we saw were the people waiting in line for the Calico Mine Ride who dipped into the fountains and splashed the water all over themselves (it was hot). I couldn't help wondering just how clean that water was. There was only one train running so the wait time was about forty minutes.

Stupid CM's (Do they call employees CM's?): While waiting to board the Calico Railroad, there was a small sign at the turnstile that said to wait for the conductor. No conductor in sight. We waited about five minutes, with some other guests, and no conductor appeared. But there was an engineer and two train robbers standing around having a conversation about thirty feet away, absolutely ignoring us. The train was in the station and half full of people, so we decided to go through the turnstile and get on. Sure enough, an operator appeared and yelled at us for not obeying the sign. Oh, well.

We passed several restaurants all serving hamburgers. Two with a fifties theme. I remembered how good the Nachos used to be in Fiesta Village so we got some. They left a lump in our stomachs and neither of us could eat dinner.

Walked through Camp Snoopy, very crowded, thought it would be fun to take the grandkids when they visit.

When we left we found out that we had parked in the wrong lot and had to pay nine dollars parking.

Decided we would not buy a Knott's AP, there isn't enough to keep us oldsters entertained, since we're not big on thrill rides. But a fun way to spend a Sunday. Maybe once a year.

Good report. HOWEVER the term "old fogies" has been substituted with the term "mature park attendees"

(and being in your 50's is NOT old!)

ya whippersnappers, ya!

i aint a fogie and mom might like knotts. I hurt too much for rides though so might pass. What scares me is the food handling, sigh.

Oh, BTW, I haven't dropped off the face of the planet. My job is slamming me and I spent the weekend doting over my SO after he had a vavovagal syncope related seizure. How it's related we don't know... hopefully the outpatient EEG on Friday will tell us. Also I've got an interview on Friday to try and get a different job that isn't trying to kill me... which would be nice.
