The fourty five day count pertains to the date in which you leave, traitor.

I was at Epic (Indiana Jones Stunt Show) today for it's 16th anniversary. There was a guy already sitting at the end of the row I'm going to sit in so I slide all the way down to him "fillin' in all available space"

On my person, I have blue jeans, the Epic shirt, Indiana Jones Dog tags around my neck, an Indiana Jones Epic hat on. I sit down next to him and pull out my PSP and begin watching Epic on the system waiting for the show to start.

The guy has gotten a clear, full view of whatI have on...

Dude: Have you ever seen this before?
Me: Uh, wha?
Dude: Have you seen this show before?
Me *Inhale deeply and simply look at him then at my hat and shirt* Nope, matter of fact, I dunno what the heck I'm doing here or what this is...Here's your sign.

He started laughin when he looked at my hat and shirt then realized what was going on.

Working at Stitch's Great Escape in the Magic Kingdom....

Lady- ma'am is this a ride?
Me- No it's a show
Lady- oh its a show...
Me- yea
Lady- So its not a ride?
Me- No it's a show
Lady- So it doesnt move around alot or spin or drop?
Me- No it's a show...
Lady- Is it scary?
Me- yes theres moments of total darkness and very loud noises...
Lady- would it be okay for my 3 yr old...
Me- no
Lady- (turns around and tells her 3 yr old its "not scary") Then trys to get in the line, when her son is only 30 inches...and the height restriction is 40 inches. Then has the nerve to yell at me cuz her kid cant sit on her lap...
Lady- So it is a ride...

I had to get someone else to finish talking to her...

Down with Stitch. Or they just need to turn it into a roller coaster. My favorite is when guests ask you at the end of the show, "so what does this ride do." Don't get me started on fast pass.

Forgive a west coaster's ignorance, but what about the show makes it require a height restriction?

We have seats with shoulder restraint system, and you have to be tall enough to fit in them to be able to see the show. Plus when you create a height requirement, you can weed out the amount of children who come in that will be frightened by the show thus reducing the amount of scared children who are being escorted out.

You know, when I first heard about the Stitch ride, I was pratically giddy as a school boy (If I may barrow a line from the Last Crusade). When I finally went into it for Cast previews I was like..."What...the **** just happened"

I understand is the "prequel" to the first movie but just some of the mistakes in the story line just erked me. But being a Stitch fa...extreme Stitch fan, I suppose thats the reason for me being like that.

Its ironic in a way I suppose however. They build the ride geared toward children then jack the height requirement up three times to steer children away.

Still, I like Stitch over Alien Encounter, except the part with S.I.R. (I mean cummon, Tim Currey? Who else could have played that robot with the exception of Michael Ironside or Jeremy Irons)

Yeah, my fiancee is a huge Stitch fan too and we were very excited and then bery disappointed about it. We both preferred Alien Encounter though, we liked it's dark humor as opposed to Stitch's childish humor. One of our favorite lines that we still randomly quote is "If you don't move, it probably won't eat you"
I didn't realize that Tim Curry was the voice of S.I.R. and I usually spot him quickly too, darn now I can't go back on it and try and listen for it.

Even then it's not a good show for children, because most of them are scared by it. Even then, the children who are most excited for it are too small to get into the show. I think if they were going to create an attraction titled Stitch's Great Escape it should have been a roller coaster, or a thrill ride. Either way, alien encounter was a much better use of that space, and lacked the smell of chili dogs. *shudders*

I have to completely agree....

And a sidenote: How does Stitch get a Chili dog????? There's no food or drink allowed in the attraction.
