Official SGT ADD thread

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

My lunch during my break yesterday was two bags if chips and a Coke. Normally I would have a sub sandwich but with the Mouseketeria closed due to flooding when I came in I couldn't pick one up.
Ralphy will have a coke and fritos and consider it *lunch*!

Hmmmm...I don't think I have ever dated either of you. Where were you in the 1970's and 80's? LOL!

Susi - I thought of you as I flew over the Rockies and saw all the snow outside Denver. Wow, that airport is out in the middle of nowhere and sure looks brown and arid and treeless. Is it really like that, or was my perception from the inside of an airplane distorted by 10,000 feet as we made our descent?
Oh Whazzup. I told you not to touch anything, specially germy kidlets. ;) Just kidding. I am sorry you are ill, but join the growing Sick Travelers Club.

Oh yes, Colorado is brown and then some and arid, we are high desert here. It greens up some for 3-4 months then browns out again. We still don't have green lawns and the only trees that are green are the pines and other evergreen varieties.

Did I say I hate this hell-hole? :( I WANT OUT! I want green! It was so nice and lush and green in California a couple weeks ago, you could look out the window of the plane and see green pastures and fields. As we drove down the coast there were fields and fields of artichokes, all green plants! I miss the color green. We live in a brown state. I will love to come to Florida and be amidst the tropical greenness of it all! I am just not going to want to come back here after my vacation is over.... :(

It is so depressing to see all the brown grass with just mere patches of green here and there and to watch my bulbs come up, tulips, iris, hyacinth, daffodils and others and then watch them freeze up with the snow and keel over all in one day and then the snow is gone, the sun is out and within 2 day we are on high red alert with fire danger. We have already had 4 major fires and 3 firefighters dead from them. We are not even in the hottest, dryest months yet. And the wind, oh the sucky wind. I hate the wind, it fills my yard with other people's garbage and I need to hire someone to clean it and pull weeds, cause I cannot do it anymore. The first year we had the beautiful garden, I was out everyday in it and loving it. I can't even step down the rocks to below on the third terrace down to pull weeds or smell the flowers. :( I will post a pic of our garden when my printer is fixed again!

The printer died before we left for Calif and HP sent us a new one that we had to asemble with pieces from our old one and it didn't work! Then HP sent new printer heads and they failed. Now they have more new printer heads in the mail, should be here tomorrow and if they fail, I am going to get on the phone instead of Ralph and tell them, ENOUGH. We are sending back BOTH useless printers and both sets of useless printer heads on your dime and you are sending us a brand new, COMPLETE printer of the same model, or we will buy another brand. I am done with not being able to print for over a month and I cannot load the photo chip to post the flats pictures on the photobucket site. I am PISSED! This is it. If the new printer heads fail, I'm so done. We will buy a brand new printer of a different brand. F HP! I am so mad now.

Anyway, I hate Colorado and want out now! Yeah the airport looks like it is far out there and it is out on the Eastern Plains, away from the city, but it really is not a long drive, it is all freeway to it. We usually go the night before our flight and stay in a hotel near the airport and then get up for our early flight and that way we don't have to get up earlier to get there from our house on the other side of town and we miss the morning rush drive as well that way!!! Smart planning makes for a more peaceful departure, unless something messes up our flight and we get bumped to a later flight and have to sit at the airport all day, has happened...

But at the hotel, we can just get up, eat breakfast at the hotel,(they offer a full breakfast with your stay), and I always take a swim in the pool and relax in the hot tub there the night before we leave, so it is very nice and convenient.

By the way, the flats are going out today, yes today, Sunday. We have 24hr, 7 day a week PO here in Denver. They will be on their way to you. I got behind when I was sick and just felt crappy. I sorry... :o:
Enjoy them, they are loads of fun and not TOO naughty! ;)

And yes, I can rattle it off verbally as well.

Impressive, but the big question is .....can you make these damn freakin' clowns leave me alone at night so I can get some sleep.? I have been averaging about 3 hours a nite lately with some really wacky dreams (lesbian vampires and mental hospitals to name a few) PLus I have been getting stranger and stranger lately due to the lack of aforementioned sleep.

OH LOOK....a telephone with a blinky light

Try watching a few episodes of "Andy Griffith" from DVD just before bed. Then the "strange dreams" will include drunks who lock themselves up, law enforcement officers who are allowed only one bullet and that has to remain in the shirt pocket. Those dreams are LOT easier to handle.

Keep posting whatever you can remember. I'm working on a treatment and need ideas.

HAHA Hobie, Didn't 'From Dusk 'til Dawn' have the Lovely Salma Hayek as a Snake-dancing Aztec Vampiress? You could start there! ;)

I've got the DVD!! Put Robert Rodriguez together with Quentin Tarantino and you'll always get something wild.
