Unfortunately, I will not learn my work schedule for the week the Bubble Ladies are here until Wednesday. But as soon as I learn what it is, I'll mosey on over to the meet up thread and inform you what days and meets I can show up.

For Narnia! And for Aslan!

Cool, hope you can meet up with us.

Just realized where you work. We want to bring the IN-laws over that way to see where we are staying in Sept and will probably pop over to the other side of the resort to check it out. Hopefully you can join us that day. Would be nice to have a local along to give us the ins and outs. :-D

They are mobile, but not completely so. BW has arranged for ECV's for them for the parks, and I've reassured them that they won't have stairs and so on to worry about like they do in DL on the entrances to -most- rides. Their touring style, from what I can gather, is very laid back but still very go go go. They're wanting to do things every day they can, and 'see it all', but they also want to stop and talk to CM's, hand out bottles and bottles and bottles of bubbles, and just generally handing out their own brand of magic. They do not plan to go back to the hotel in the afternoon to rest. Elyse made it VERY clear to me that they usually go and spend 12 to 15 hours in a day at DL and she doesn't see why that would change at WDW. It may change, but it's hard to tell ahead of time. The BL's are twins, and gemini to boot. Elyse is the more talkative of them, and as she has told me, has the 'mouth of a sailor'. Elena is a little more shy, but still a very happy, huggy person. Granted, I've gotten most of this from PM's (long PM's!) and phone calls. By the way, Mainstreeter, they've had amazing things to say about you!

The Ladies are VERY excited about this trip. They can't believe it's actually happening.
Awww! I want to meet them! What happened to the Texas stopover on the way there or back???

Well, I do owe you dinner. I can pay for one beside myself.

I do need to come up with $35 a day for scooters per scooter, unless someone has one in the area they'd be willing to donate for the two weeks (or buy on Craigslist and sell afterward).

I was hoping to buy one for my guests to use while here and get it before the tour, but that's not going to happen at this point.

According to my calendar, I'm scheduled to give a "Misguided Tour" at the MK on Friday 7 March to the BL and perhaps a few SGTers. Is this still on? Should I PM the BLs and invite them?

Zazu, any way you can maybe give that tour on Tuesday? That's the Ladies first day at MK. We can do something else Friday, a tour of another park, perhaps, Zazu?

They're also going to be at MK on Thursday night for the P&PP. Going again on Friday might be a bit much Magic Kingdom in one week, especially given there are so many other things to see.

But thats just my opinion...

Sure, I could do it Tuesday just as well, but I wonder if my MGT is the way to spend your first day at the MK.
They're also going to be at MK on Thursday night for the P&PP.
I could do the tour on Thursday if we end early enough. (Got the monthly wine dinner at Jiko that evening.) Would have to start right at nine and end a bit early though.

There's also the jet lag issue, as the ladies will have three hours to adjust, and maybe all they'd be up to that first day is wandering about and passing out bubbles, I dunno.

Those of you who have taken it, what's your opinion? First day? P&PP night? Friday? Any other ideas?

Or I could just PM and ask them....

Having chatted with the Ladies extensively, they've indicated they're happy to just go along for the ride. Whatever is planned for whatever, they're happy to go with.

If we do the tour Thursday, that might work well, actually. We can aim to finish in the early afternoon. That gives the Ladies time to go back to the hotel, rest a bit and change into their costumes for the party that night. And gives you time to get to your dinner at Jiko, Zazu.

Of course, we could do the MGT the following Monday or Tuesday...but I'm thinking Thursday would work.
