That gives me an evil idea to try out if some Hellie brat comes rolling towards me when I'm at WDW next month. I'll pretend to be stretching and stick my arm out at just the right height and ... CLOTHESLINE!!

If the brat's parents try to b*$%# at me for it I'll say something like, "Sorry, I was just stretching. BTW, those things are quite dangerous and against Disney policy. You're lucky all he did was bust his butt, he could have seriously hurt himself or somebody else.

Zazu, is this the hysterically funny Lynn Ruth Miller? I've been introduced to her in The City as The Tooth Fairy.

mechurchlady wrote:Buck up young man as there is no tooth fairy, Heelys can be bought all around the world, Mickey Mouse is often played by women, and Walt Disney is not dead but magically lives on forever like Peter Pan. One day he spanked Tinkerbelle for being bad and her dust hit him so that he lives for ever. You do know that Tinkerbelle snuck into the offices and changed the plans for DCA and Animal Kingdom. It was her who magically dust the popcorn so that guests do SGTs.
The rest of it is fine, but please, let me believe there's SOMEWHERE in the world that... aw, look, now you made me cry.

And Syndrome, if you weren't an AP holder, I would buy one for you. Tuesday the 26th, my dad's coming down and we're going to go out to see Busch Gardens. If you want to come, it's on me, as long as I get to see you in action with the Heely kids.

And Zazu would've found a way to quietly dump the whole cup on the kid or in his backpack.

I never knew her original name. Her husband's name was Rusty though, if that helps.

Is she still doing stand-up for a day job? She was pretty horrible at it when I knew her. She just *had* to get better, if only for a lack of alternatives.

Long-time "lurker", first-time poster.
My family and I have just returned from WDW - celebrating our oldest daughter's 18th birthday and high school graduation. Several times we witnessed those moments that one or the other in the family would say -- "You've GOT to send that to SGT!" This is one of those......
While leaving MGM late one afternoon, trying to exit to the boat that would take us to Boardwalk, I was stopped at the turnstile when SGT decided that she HAD to ask about transportation to EPCOT before she went another step. As people backed up behind us, she was told that she could proceed to the dock and catch a boat to EPCOT. She made some grumbled response and then finally began moving. As she went, she was talking over her shoulder to her teenage 'Princess' who was a bit behind her, telling her that she would have to move it to make the boat at the dock. 'Princess proceeded to push through and begin to run. The next thing I heard was the "THUNK" of a body hitting the pavement. The CM/Security were very concerned and tried to get to her to help her. Her very concerned mother would only say -- "Now you are going to make us miss the boat!". Princess got up and said she was ok, even though she kept wiping at her hands and knees. Very shortly after this, we again heard the tell-tale sound of body-hitting-pavement as the Princess' brother, on his wonderful "heelies" met the same fate as his sister -- face-plant. Concerned mom's response: "Well, now we will miss the boat -- we could have just stayed and watched the parade if you were going to do this." She never went back to check on either child -- only yelled to another member of her party ahead of her to hold the boat.

Last september I was chatting away to one of the UK Pavillion cast members because I'd applied to go the cultural representative program. We must have been talking for a good twenty mins when a kid came barreling into a display of sweaters. I couldn't help but laugh, the kid actually went flying in the air. He just kind of shot back up again and looked around embarassed hoping no one had seen him. But there was about thirty people all standing round looking at him like he was an idiot. He wasn't a little kid either, he was probably about 12. By that age I'd hope you'd realise that at that speed, you're gonna hurt yourself when you hit something...

You've never seen videos of the skateboarders and BMX bikers doing face plants, skull crushers and crotch busters have you?

a stupid kid on Heelys in one of Churchy's vids wrote: Jesus, if you love me, man... you'll take all the pain away.
I've typed and erased about ten different things now to respond to that. I'm not sure which to use without being horribly spiritually offensive (but not as offensive as that kid was to me), so I am not going to say anything. To some things, there just isn't a good response.
