Whoelse would make fun of a poor guy from Va,? :D: :D: You better introduce yourself to Ernie & SOON hobie. :) He LOVED his birthday greeting you posted on SGT. LOVED IT! He refers to you as his "best" friend from Hawaii. He was stationed in Hawaii. Some of his fun stories could be shared. Interesting & funny. Others Marine stories....not a wise idea. ;)

He was probably stationed at Kaneohe Bay on Oahu. It's almost due east of Ko Olina on the other side of the island.

See if he's got any surf stories. Kaneohe Bay isn't far from the north shore where the really big surf is. You can start calling him the Big Kahuna.

ahhh, negative on surf stories. He only has one, "God didn't put me here to surf." Calling him Big Kahuna just doesn't fit. Am staying with Gunny or Idiot, but thanks hobie. :D:

I'd never call Ernie an Idiot. I call him Ernie whenever I see the fine fellow that he is. I also see if I can squeeze in a hug too! But that only happens backstage, and not during Flag Retreat if he's out in front of the crowds of course... :)
