Tinkerbelle has been around a while. Cut us older gals some slack! ;)felinefan wrote:I think she looks a little chubby to be Tinkerbelle. Hey April, next time use waterproof mascara.
Tink has always had some body issues. Don't you remember that part of Peter Pan where she's standing on the mirror and then sees her beind in the mirror and is trying to measure it?felinefan wrote:I think she looks a little chubby to be Tinkerbelle. Hey April, next time use waterproof mascara.
Well, if we're going to be impolite about things, I've noticed Ariel in Voyage of the Little Mermaid's chuncked up a little over the past couple of visits... :D:felinefan wrote:I think she looks a little chubby to be Tinkerbelle. Hey April, next time use waterproof mascara.
I happen to be an older gal with body issues myself. No, don't remember seeing Tink measuring her behind--too many years have passed since I saw the movie.DisneyMom wrote:Tinkerbelle has been around a while. Cut us older gals some slack! ;)
your right. kingdom hearters shouldnt have been put out.TiggerHappy wrote:This incident reminds me of this video where Guests dressed up as Kingdom Hearts characters and went into Disneyland. (Well, actually, they came in their normal clothes and changed in the bathroom.)
They did eventually get kicked out, but what I find funny is that they were kicked out for the same reason as April: they didn't want these cosplayers to be mistaken as CMs. Although Kingdom Hearts is copyrighted to Disney, there's no KH characters in any of the parks at all. Tinkerbelle I can understand, but KH characters? And yes, I have seen anime cosplayers wander around Disneyland outside of Halloween with no problem at all so technically the cosplayers shouldn't have had any issues with Disney at all.
