Read section 12G on page 15/91 of this PDF file.

*Unless what they are doing is a danger to themselves or others.
There are those unwritten asterisks in there that we just all know. The same way we where not suppose to yell/scream at them ;)

That is an interesting document I can not recall ever seeing before. There is a lot you can get terminated for.

I have often heard rumors that you can get terminated or at least a written reprimand for speeding on property. I see cops all the time on property so i make sure I do exactly the speed limit. It amuses me in the parking lots when I go 15mph (the posted speed limit) and I get angry motorist behind me flashing lights and honking at me. I have been screamed and given the bird on more then one occasion for doing the speed limit.

I've heard that as well. AFAIK it's because we are required to obey all laws and company policies when on property.

You can also get terminated for texting and driving. A manager was fired when I was working at WDW for doing just that.

We were told that usually the cops wouldn't bother reporting it to the company unless you were rude to them. But honestly I so rarely see cops on property. Outside of off duty OT guys who couldn't care less about if we're speeding.

Head down Western Way some morning. That is their baby.

Not so much anymore. I used to see them regularly hanging out in the median behind the resort but not so much aymore. I rarely see them out there now. I'll see an unmarked unit hanging out under the 429 overpass occasionally but that's not on Disney property.

Might be a time of day thing. I do see them fairly regularly when I need to use the van for something and so take Little Wallaby in. Not as regularly as I used to, but I think that could be because people got used to seeing them there and they would like to get those tickets.

As a Haunted Mansion cast member, and newly appointed trainer. Per our GAC policies, you would show your GAC to our greeter in the front, and they will tell you where to go from there. Either it will be through the regular line, depending on how long it is (if they're doing that, the wait will be less than 20 minutes), or they will send you to an alternate line that will then merge you into the regular line that has about a 15ish minute wait before you would be on the ride, which does include the time it takes in the stretch room (approximately 3-5 minutes, and 3-5 minutes of wait inside before getting onto the ride, so about 5ish minutes of being in the actual regular line outside, stay to the RIGHT!). When you get to the doors that lead you to the stretch room, that is when you tell the CM that you do not wish to see the stretch room, they will escort you to a hallway that leads toward the exit where you will encounter the wheelchair assist cast member who will be putting you onto the ride. So basically, you're not going to be waiting more than 20 minutes, a time that Disney has worked with the ADA to approve for our ride, among others.

I hope that was at least a little bit helpful, and you can let me know if you have more questions. I do deal with a lot of GAC's, and people who try to abuse the GAC system. While I don't like the people who abuse it, and are using it purely to cut the lines, I have absolutely ZERO problems with people who legitimately need their GAC, and I always go out of my way to do what I can for them. So definitely don't feel bad if you need a GAC, its there to make your time at Disney easier :)

Welcome to SGT, Neonkitty. The marsupials should be along soon to welcome you, as should Hobie and the Beverage Committee. I suggest saving your complementary beverage until after the safety spiel. You're going to need it then.
