Frogs with long tails
Re: Frogs with long tails
i've never been attacked by one of them long tailed frogs, but i'll try to be!
so um yeah, i was hissed at by a possum while i was learning thunder though. I wanted to pick it up because it was young a cuddly, but i know that when they're young, they don't know how much venom to use when biting, so they use as much as they can, where as the adults will only use enough to make you hurt... unless they want to eat you.

GMC, QUIET!!! Those of us who work Emporium are told NEVER EVER to divulge the rat sightings. Now the world will know :D: ]GMC wrote:So, i'm walking down mainstreet parting the crowd for a pole cart after the parade, and out from Emporium shoots a rat.

Ok, you want bird attacks, this kind of fits. At book, in the spring, we get baby duckies. Well, I'm pulling up to the dock and mom is shooing the babies on to the dock. I pause and go again when it's clear (I don't want to crush the babies, the cats get enough of them) except for one problem mom, and like 2 of the duckies were still in the water while the rest are on the dock and another boat had just unloaded, so guests are crowding around the babies. Momma spots this and suddenly flies up across my boat and onto the dock. I swear she almost hit everyone in my boat, and she did shower everyone with the canal water, that alone might kill you.

Well since we're discussing when animals attack. Yesterday I was on tom sawyers Island and we were just walking along the path and had stopped to take pictures and a duck dive bombs my friends head. And of course my friend is oblivious to the whole thing. Then we're in line for Buzz about four hours later and a sparrow dives at his head again. Apparently disneyland birds dislike balding guys in blue baseball caps.

I'm going to college so I can work for a mouse!

No long tailed frogs, but a couple of miscellaneous sightings the other night over at Universal. First, when I arrived for work and was driving throught the Lemmele Structure to park (we had Parking Relocation in effect over the weekend,) what did I spot wandering along the ground level but a mother duck, followed by nine ducklings. Then, while on the shuttle back after I got off, I spotted a Racoon ducking into Stage 22...

All you DLR people can't forget the cats. Though, I imagine those are seen mostly outside the parks. More around the hotels or parking lots. I've seen a couple in K-Lot, but they prefer running away over attacking.

We have a few resident cats in fantasy land. i'll never get over how excited people get to see cats in disneyland... i mean, ducks i can understand... cause you don't see those every day. but cats? come on, guys.
i always love the springtime, when the cats spend most of their time near the storybook canal hunting baby ducks.
cats and crows... oh my.
how do you explain a crow swooping down, and picking up a duckling from the canal?
"oh.. umm, that nice crow is giving that baby duck a flying lesson..."

on alcatraz we have 5 ravens, huge buggers... smart as hell too... know how to get into those trash cans by prying the lids off... well u know where their nest is by the dismembered seagull carcasses and the dismembered wings you find on the floor... i sometimes collect the bones of "various" birds and leave em on the operating table in the hospital...saidthekat wrote:We have a few resident cats in fantasy land. i'll never get over how excited people get to see cats in disneyland... i mean, ducks i can understand... cause you don't see those every day. but cats? come on, guys.

Re: Frogs with long tails
I seriously doubt they're as hungry as you think. The three I've seen...all around K3 looked rather healthy to me. It must be all those long tailed frogs.Main Streeter wrote:There are abt 5 - 7 cats around #3 @ K Lot. I'm the one who always trys to feed them :) Can't bare the thought of a hungry, stray animal.
