The one at WDW still has the nickname of "PeopleMaker" for that reason.flippin_mermaid wrote:All these mentions of easy or best places to do "stuff" at Disneyland....and no one mentioned the People Mover. Come on, it MOVED people! In more ways than one...
that's it, i'm packing my bags and going, they still have a people mover in Florida, GOSH i miss that attraction... i'd like to meet the idiots that scraped it, and the other idots that failed to make rocket rods an attraction that worked properly.Zazu wrote:The one at WDW still has the nickname of "PeopleMaker" for that reason.flippin_mermaid wrote:All these mentions of easy or best places to do "stuff" at Disneyland....and no one mentioned the People Mover. -Lowers her glasses slighty down her knows and peers over them- Actually WDW's People Mover is called Tomorrowland Tranist Authority (TTA) so even if it's nicknamed the People Maker it is no longer the People Mover....GMC wrote:still. it's got the same name, and that's good enough for me.
Come on down! Just be aware our PeopleMaker isn't as cool as the Disneyland version. Ours doesn't don't wind around over the Autopia tracks, plus the whole thing is dead flat.GMC wrote:that's it, i'm packing my bags and going, they still have a people mover in Florida, GOSH i miss that attraction... i'd like to meet the idiots that scraped it...Zazu wrote:The one at WDW still has the nickname of "PeopleMaker" for that reason.flippin_mermaid wrote:All these mentions of easy or best places to do "stuff" at Disneyland....and no one mentioned the People Mover. Yeah, only rode that once and wondered how they managed to screw that up so badly. The pre-show was better than the show! If they'd cut that budget any shorter they would have had CMs pushing the stupid carts around the track.... and the other idots that failed to make rocket rods an attraction that worked properly.
I remember one day when I was waiting for a friend of mine to get off of work I decided to take a short trip on the TTA, ended up falling asleep, and woke up about an hour and a half later. At least by then my friend was off of work, but it wasn't so bad because it was when I worked there.Zazu wrote:OTOH, it's rarely crowded, so you just twirl one finger in the air as you approach unload and go around again. Some friends of mine spend nearly a whole day on a TTA-A-Thon, going around some 27 times!
LOL!! I know ... I remember thinking the stand in line was better than the actual go-round in a Rocket Rod. But that cracks me up....Zazu wrote:Yeah, only rode that once and wondered how they managed to screw that up so badly. The pre-show was better than the show! At least that would have been more reliable.
