Yeah I'm really glad that we have the wool jackets but it sucks when it rains. Because we're stuck outside so much, they absord a lot of water and they get soooo heavy the rain gear doesn't cover them and they smell like wet dog.

so i hear, it's been dry the whole 5 months i've been working here, so i only have the stories of other to know how to dress, i hear though, that if you wear thermal underwear and just the normal jacket, it's not so bad. (that's for the rain so that you dont smell like wet dog)

after spending last winter on the cloumbia.... thermals are a must. Oh wait there was the moment in time where someone decided that canoes HAD to open with the park during Christmas. Nothin says lovin like opening at 7 am and having the dock iced over while you're wearing stupid moccasins

Heavy thermals & layer, layer will get you through late fall & winter @ DLR. On stage can be bitter cold, unforgiving environs. Layers allow you to peel/ put on. Only way to go!! Don't forget your issue cloves & white neck scarf. One yr. Custodial screwed up order count & warm, white neck scarves were like finding gold! No white scarves could be found after 4 p.m. I gave up freezing & finally ran to TDA, bought a white scarf with a small Pooh stitched on the end & was WARM! Didn't get caught for over a month. When manager finally saw my "entire" scarf in dept. office she told me the pooh scarf couldn't be worn on stage. Looked @ her & smiled as I went to the top. Final call]

A guest offered me $250.00 cash for my Custodial jacket in 01. Thought he might be a mystery shopper or??? Was so stupid, told him my jacket was not for sale @ any price. Would I be this stupid again? Yes

That's when you wear socks too ... and lots of hot cocoa. That is what makes the mansion costume great. Skirts are deceptively warm.... -gins-
